Our Achievements
Due to the coronavirus situation, weddings are being cancelled and postponed all over the world. Social distancing and the guidelines have been issued for weddings. In a first of its kind, The Chrome Events, Kolkata, West Bengal, organized the first ever digital wedding of Puja Bhaniramka and Pratik Gupta on June 14, 2020
Held at Golden Tulip Hotel, Kolkata, the guests were limited to 25 as per the government norms for weddings. However, the wedding was witnessed live by more than 100 people. Guests from various parts of the world were present through popular video conferencing app Zoom.
Wedding planning services, The Chrome Events, successfully organised #DigitalShaadi ( Digital Wedding ). People from Ireland and Germany also witnessed the auspicious ceremony live. They also made sure none of the guests missed the wedding, as the event is incomplete without relatives.Concepts like digital sangeet and live multiple guests on screen were the highlights of the event. Guests danced at their homes, not missing out on the special moment.
Navneet Kila, Founder, The Chrome Events, said, "We set up cameras inside the banquet hall and ensured all the loved ones of the bride and groom witnessed the event. Thermal screening, sanitization and social distancing were ensured during the event".
