#repost Structure and rentals provided by us. .................. The cornerstone of any wedding celebration, regardless of scale, is undoubtedly the venue. From picturesque mountains, to pristine beaches, from palatial seven star properties, to intimate living room ceremonies –the aesthetic, feel and overall vibe of the wedding, hinges heavily on the ‘where’ of it all. So, for this particular one, there couldn’t have been a more fitting location than the city of Nizams, with it’s rich history, incredible culture, and outstanding hospitality. The fact that both the bride and groom’s families hail from Hyderabad, seamlessly tied into the brief we were working with, to create this spectacle. From the intricate mirror work to the beautiful rajnigandha and mogra flowers, the Nizami influence in the room was palpable. But in lieu of the extravagance of palace culture, we had clean lines define the space. Whites and ombres of pink reigned supreme - from the floral chandelier, to the regal baithak-style seating. Elements such as the banana trees and coconuts adorning the venue, were proud representatives of the South Indian heritage which the bride and groom not only share, but hold close to their hearts. Paring back the opulence, meant the atmosphere created was instantly soothing, and immensely inviting.
