GANGAUR FESTIVAL

Gangaur is a traditional Hindu festival celebrated in Rajasthan, India.
This festival is all about honouring Goddess Gauri or Parvati, and celebrating marriage and love. In this celebration, both married and unmarried women take part in the festivities in full enthusiasm, make clay images of Shiva and Parvati, dress them beautifully, offer prayers to them, observe day-long fast for marital happiness and prepare delightful dishes for the family. As for the locals of Rajasthan, Goddess Parvati represents perfection and marital love; thus, the Gangaur festival holds a lot of importance for them.

The Rajasthan Diwas !!

Today, on March 30th, 2024, Rajasthan is celebrating its 75th Sthapana Diwas, or Formation Day! This vibrant state in India is known for its majestic forts, colorful culture, and rich history. Back in 1949, four regions—Jodhpur, Jaipur, Bikaner, and Jaisalmer—joined together to create the larger state of Rajasthan.

Formerly, Rajasthan was known as Rajputana which means “The country of the Rajputs”. The meaning of Rajasthan is “The Abode of the Rajas”. It is located in the northwest part of the country and is the home of cultural diversity. The State’s features include Indus Valley Civilization ruins, temples, forts and fortresses in almost every city. It is divided into nine regions, which are equally rich in their heritage and artistic contribution.

The Rajasthan Domestic Travel Mart

The Rajasthan Domestic Travel Mart is scheduled to be held from 13th to 15th September 2024.

It was informed that Rajasthan is not only a favoured destination for tourism but also for investment in tourism and its allied projects. It was further said that Rajasthan along with its cultural and royal heritage, Rajasthan is also a huge destination in arenas of wildlife, eco-rural , wellness, leisure, pilgrimage , weddings etc. The Rajasthan Tourism Policy has further accentuated the scope of Rural Tourism, Film Tourism and Heritage Tourism

It is hoped that pro-active participation of stakeholders in the forthcoming RDTM in September 2024

“BID FAREWELL” – an Exhilarating Experience !!

The Hotel Yash Regency, Jaipur has been privileged to host a Farewell Party for the final year students of Vinayak Science Center & Sanjay Memorial Sr. Sec. School Jaipur.

It is that time of the year when students of all age groups combine, show their talents, and perform enthusiastically. The students celebrated the event at our Swagat Banquet Hall and the team at the hotel went out of the way to make sure that students carry a long lasting impression with regard to the spirit of hospitality showcased by the entire hotel team.

We wish the outgoing students a bright future in their endeavors!!

FIRE TRAINING

Keeping in view the work place safety, an extensive fire training was imparted by the Fire Training Officer from the Fire Department, on Sunday, the 25th February 2024 at the Hotel Yash Regency, Jaipur.

The training was attended by our entire operational staff in the hotel, who got aware of the overall fire safety as well as it helped to protect our workplace and employees. Kudos to our team !!

An Amazing experience !!

The Hotel Yash Regency, Jaipur has recently been pleased to host the stay of the prestigious guests from Britain for two nights i.e. from 20-22nd January 2024. They were on a pilgrimage trip to different cities in India and had shared their wonderful experiences of the Indian hospitality. All British guests were overwhelmed with the true spirit of hospitality showcased by the entire hotel team too, who worked tirelessly to make sure they carry a life time memories with them.

We look forward to welcoming them back to the hotel in near future.

Makar Sankranti 2024 Jaipur - Celebrations at the Kite Festival

Jaipur Kite Festival or the International Kite Festival has grown into a magnanimous event which witnesses enormously large participation of people from all walks of life, across the country. Held at the Chaughan Stadium, i.e. the Jaipur Polo the area is divided into two parts. The event is also a two parts celebration-Kite War and Kite Flying Celebration.

The blue sky is sprinkled with vibrant kites giving a mirage of a rainbow. Local dancers and street performers gather here to entertain the crowd. You might also find camels and horses on which you can avail of a ride by paying a small charge. The dazzling sight is an activity that you must surely participate in or at least witness once in a lifetime. From dawn to dusk, you can find people flying kites all across the city, not just at the Polo Ground but also at every rooftop, community park and open public space. Besides, delicious sweets are prepared especially for the occasion that is savoured by one and all. Happy Makar Sankranti !!
