representing affordable and natural skincare at the market on the 16th and 17th of September at .amethyst.

Witnessing his wife deal with severe skin problems using chemical laden products yielding quick-fix solutions with no long-term results got Karthik thinking and kicking into action.
He quickly assembled a team of five brilliant and like-minded individuals and together they dwelled into extensive research on natural skincare and home-made alternatives and developed a range of natural formulations for the skin.

The first range of handmade face, body soaps, washes, mists and gels were tested by Karthik’s wife and friends. After consistent use, there was a gradual transformation and the feedback was positive. This motivated Karthik to create
‘Patchouli Owl’ a handmade and home-made skincare company that combines ancient family skin care secrets, the power of research and the optimum usage of simple, natural ingredients.

“With a passion for using our family’s ancient skincare remedies, I began crafting skincare
products for my wife. Today I’m proud to say we have hundreds of repeat customers who
swear by our products.
Patchouli Owl was born out of this love and simplicity. Our philosophy is straightforward:
Don’t complicate skincare. Nature has always provided the best solutions and we simply
need to unlock its secrets.” says Karthik Appadurai

Buy some great skincare from Patchouli Owl on the 16th and 17th of September, 11 am onwards at the Canopy Flea Market. We promise you won’t regret it

.life at our flea market on the 16th and 17th of September at .amethyst
life yoga mats are truly one of a kind. The mats are made of pure cotton on the outside and inside, feel great to practice yoga on, easy to clean, machine washable, have anti-slip grip technology, are light weight, foldable and ofcourse can be rolled up as well.

These mats are the brain child of Ketna.
A few years ago while becoming a yoga practitioner, Ketna realised that the usual yoga mats just don't cut it and in the process she says she found a unique product opportunity and spent four years developing her amazing yoga mats and has now filed a patent as well.

She believes that yoga is all about the flow of energy and should be practiced as close as possible to nature/natural elements hence she decided out with the synthetic yoga mats that are hard to clean, hard to pack, hard to dry, often slip and smell awful after a few sessions of yoga and in with her range of fantastic yoga mats that are soft, anti-slip, easy to clean, smell great and feel amazing.

Her mats are an investment and can be used for other workouts as well. Her mats are great for injury free workouts thanks to the grip technology that she has incorporated into the making of the mat. Her mats come in a variety of colours and prints. You have to see it to believe it so visit Ketna and Asana life on the 16th and 17th of October between 11 am and 9pm at our flea market.

'Lagom' the art of balanced perfection. Lagom was established in the year 2021 by Sanchi with an intention to introduce something exciting in the storage organiser and home decor space. While feeling unsatisfied on her hunt for good storage options make-up and jewellery, Sanchi had her 'aha' moment - why not design her own!

Sanchi says "My love for handmade designs and craftsmanship kept growing through the process and I was really keen on designing products that not only looked aesthetic, but are sustainable too! After months of research, prototypes, finding the best vendor, I finally launched the make up organiser - Halo. The feedback from people is what kept us going. The next launch was our wicker boxes, which became a crowd favourite in no time!"

The customer response was brilliant and Lagom had celebrities like Mallika Dua, Shweta Tripati Sharma and top influencers reaching out to buy.

Lagom is proudly learning, growing and building a successful brand with a great story filled with challenges, failures and laughs.

.wellness at our market on the 16th and 17th of September at .amethyst, 11 am onwards!

We love our pets so much at Canopy that a market without something for our furry friends would make no sense at all for us!

Read on to find out more about this great brand from the lovely founder Radhika Verma !
"At the core of Unleash Wellness is a lifelong passion. From a young age, I sensed the importance of preventive pet care, a feeling that took root when I was barely a teenager. Growing up around my father's pharmaceutical background, my fascination with supplements and their creation grew.

Life led me into the corporate world, but my dreams remained alive. The pandemic unexpectedly gave me the chance to revisit my aspirations. Amid my corporate duties, a persistent thought pushed me to chase my vision. The initial ideas took shape during those uncertain moments.

My belief in the expanding pet industry never wavered. As a committed pet parent, I saw the gap between reactive and proactive care. The lack of awareness about preventive practices was glaring. I firmly believed that starting early could reduce a pet's reliance on medication later in life.

The challenge was two-fold – crafting supplements tailored to different breeds and seamlessly integrating them into a pet owner's routine. The supplements had to be as effortless as brewing morning coffee. This insight drove me to create supplements distinct from the market, emphasizing natural ingredients over traditional medicines.

This is the birth story of Unleash Wellness, fueled by my enduring passion and a vision to reshape pet care. At its heart is the idea that a proactive approach can redefine pets' lives, ensuring vitality and minimizing future health woes."

Calling everyone from the animal community in Chennai to visit our market, buy from this brand and give your pets the best!

Veetukku oru veenai – A Veena in every home!
Catch Baradwaj and his unique brand backed by tradition
at our market on the 16th and 17th of September, 11 am onwards.

Baradwaj comes from an illustrious family that is passionate about carnatic music and rightfully so as Baradwaj is none other than
Padma Bhushan Veena Vidwan
S. Balachander's grandson.
'Veenai'Balachander as he is fondly remembered today even after nearly three decades of his passing was internationally acclaimed for his unique playing style. He has played a major role in baradwaj's journey as a musician, teacher and entrepreneur.

Their home in Chennai's cultural hub, mylapore is home to 10 intricately carved, specially customised and exquisitely designed Thanjavur veenais that are the priced collection of the Maestro himself

In Baradwaj's words "The Saraswathy Veena - India's National Musical Instrument is our cultural treasure held by the Goddess of learning and enlightenment. Modeled after the human body, the Veena is acclaimed for its grace, beauty and divine music.
Having dabbled in designing and making unique portable veenas called the Sarasvitar that can be easily carried in a guitar bag, I felt that I should make a miniature veena that can be owned by anyone who has no space or use for the large instrument.
Veena making is an art practised by very few highly skilled craftsmen from a small belt in the Thanjavur area. Sadly, there are very few artisans today who can carry on this traditional work. Our venture is aimed at supporting indigenous artisans and craftsmen in small villages who have carved this unique hand made Bala Veenai from sturdy teak wood that celebrates Indian culture and art."

Support this brand and add a special veenai to your home rich in design and tradition.

Mulya from Dehradun.
is going to be at the flea market on the 16th and 17th of September between 11 am and 8pm .amethyst.

What if the left over flowers from celebrations, occasions and temples were used to make fabric? The result would be sustainable, beautiful and Mulya does just this.

They follow a simple four step process

Step 1: Collect or source used flowers from nearby temples, event venues, homes etc.
Step 2: Sorting of the flowers - fresh if dyeing must be done immediately, if not, the petals are cut and dried in the sun for later use.
Step 3: Process of eco-printing fabric with the flowers and the leftover residue is then converted to compost.
Step 4- Curating and making interesting clothing, accessories and decor using the eco printed fabric.

Mulya means 'Value' and they promise sustainably made products that are nothing short of value additions to your life. By adapting sustainable measures to develop their textiles, Mulya constantly tries to eliminate the harmful effect caused by the textile industry.

Procured from local artisans , hand-dyed and eco printed using the natural ingredients, their products carry the essence of labor and love.

Mulya's product line consists of accessories, clothing, and home furnishings made out of protein- or cellulose-based fibres, such as cotton, linen, cotton silk, organza silk, silk, and some blended fabrics.

Mulya was founded in the year 2020 by Alisha Maindoliya in her home city of Dehradun, Uttrakhand with the intention to stop migration, curate job opportunities for talented youth and empower women and lead an unconventional life and be as resourceful as possible.

In Alisha's words "Mulya is a brand in the making that symbolises contemporary Uttarakhand and will grow to inspire more citizens to do the same for their city"

We cannot wait to host this lovely brand and their gorgeous products coming all the way from Dehradun. We ask all you Chennai 'vaasis' to give them a warm welcome and visit their stall at the market this September. We hope to see you walk out of the market with a piece of Mulya.

The four time award-winning .makings is going to be at the flea market on the 16th and 17th of September between 11 am and 8pm .amethyst.

Pick up a piece or two of their exceptional jewellery. Their unique designs challenge convention while being conscious of the environment.

The talented designer and founder Smruti Mathisekaran says her story the best, "My journey with NO NA MÉ has been an incredible experience. When I began designing the first jewellery collection, my goal was to create pieces that were not only beautiful but also environmentally conscious. With limited funds, I had to be resourceful and innovative in my approach.

After months of hard work designing and prototyping, sourcing materials, and experimenting with production methods, I finally launched NO NA MÉ’s first collection with a stall in Mumbai. The response from customers was overwhelming - seeing people fall in love with the designs gave me the motivation to keep pushing forward.

Along the way, NO NA MÉ has won four design awards for three collections thus far. This journey has taught me the value of perseverance and creativity; by challenging conventional ideas about jewellery design and manufacturing processes, I believe I have been able to create something truly unique that resonates with people on many different levels.

My original one-year endeavour with a furniture design company had me thinking of starting my own furniture and home accessory manufacturing business. I needed resources, a storage facility, and marketing know-how, though. I thought that the jewellery might advertise itself if people wore my designs and went out with them rather than making a piece of furniture that would be restricted to a small space inside someone’s house.

I therefore considered beginning with personal accessories because they are a lot smaller, much cheaper to create, and much easier to keep and move.

What was first a logical start quickly turned into a passion."

Don't miss this brand at our market this September, all the way from Tirunelveli we give you NO NA MÉ by Smruti Mathisekaran.
