Using violence against an animal, depriving it of food, water, or company, and forcing it into overcrowded and unsanitary living conditions are morally wrong for the same reasons why doing these to a human would be wrong: it causes the being great suffering and distress.

Any form of cruelty against animals, if and when witnessed, should reported to the police or concerned authorities immediately. Parents must educate children to respect animals and treat them with kindness. There is also an urgent need to make strict laws for cruelty against animals at the hands of humans.

हर कोई एक छोटे से काम से शुरुआत कीजिए। इसे घर में बच्चों से लेकर बड़े तक कोई भी आसानी से कर सकता है। पानी की बोतल आसानी से कहीं भी मिल सकती है। हर घर में हर दिन कम से कम एक या एक से अधिक प्लास्टिक की थैलियाँ आती हैं, (जैसे तेल की थैली, दूध की थैली, किराने की थैली, शैम्पू, साबुन, मैगी, कुरकुरे आदि) वही थैलियां हमें रोज कूड़ेदान की जगह पानी की बोतल में डालनी हैं। आप सप्ताह में एक बार बोतल को भर सकते हैं और उचित ढक्कन के साथ कूड़ेदान में फेंक दें। ऐसा करने से जानवर बिखरा हुआ प्लास्टिक नहीं खाएंगे। प्लास्टिक कचरे और पानी की बोतलों का उचित निपटान होगा। कचरा विभाग को कूड़ा जमा करने में भी सुविधा होगी। इतने छोटे से काम से पर्यावरण, धरती और आने वाली पीढ़ी को बहुत बड़ा फायदा होगा। जितना हो सके इस काम को 100% करने की कोशिश करें, जितने समय में हर कोई कर सकता है। शहर से लेकर गांव तक हर घर में यह आंदोलन खड़ा होना समय की मांग है। विनम्र निवेदन है कि हर घर इस जरूरत को पहचानें और इस शुभ कार्य की शुरुआत करें। *प्लास्टिक योजना के साथ भारत।*

KK's death was a man-made, organizer enabled, preventable tragedy. As someone who's spent a large part of their lives in the wings, watching a parent perform on stage, I can imagine just how difficult it must have been for him to perform in an extremely, extremely overcrowded space which had no AC, blinding lights that radiate intense heat and organizers who stood by instead of trying to make him comfortable - because, after all, he's the entertainer they booked! And the entertainer's job is to entertain, no matter what! And after they've entertained you on stage, you get to mob them with requests for selfies. If they say no, they're terrible and arrogant of course.
KK died before his time because we live in a city and a country that claims to revere art, but won't do the bare minimum for the artists themselves, even the ones they claim to love and respect. KK died because we live in a city and country where anything goes. Literally anything. You want to pack an auditorium at 4 times its capacity? Why not? You want to carry on with a show without AC? Why not?
This is who we are, who we always were, and who we always will be.
KK is no more, but our disregard for safety, our hooliganism, our disrespect have no end date.
