When Kesang first called about her daughter Karuna’s wedding, I knew this one would be special. A sunset celebration at their family home on Diwar Island, Goa? Count me in! That first call turned into the loveliest conversation about nature and permaculture – and before I knew it, I was invited over for tea.

Their home took my breath away – an old Portuguese house with modern touches and Bali-inspired details. While I couldn’t make it to their vibrant Colombian celebration the night before, the stories of dancing and joy set the perfect tone for the wedding day. Karuna’s getting-ready room, surrounded by banana leaves and tropical greenery, was a photographer’s dream.

As the sun dipped lower, 150 guests gathered for the most authentic wedding ceremony I’ve witnessed. Karuna and Santiago’s vows were refreshingly real, touching on life’s ups and downs with remarkable honesty. Kesang and Anupam’s warmth turned me from photographer to family. An evening rain shower led to the coziest night of stories and laughter, and waking up to Diwar Island’s misty views was pure magic.

Keeping it real 🫶🏻

A heart to heart series of brides walking down the aisle. It’s mesmerising to see how each time I see a bride embark on this path of their love union, there’s a firestorm of emotions.

It’s that millisecond where their lives move away from just their own individual lives to two worlds blending into one. Lots of laughter, fun and celebration with a desire for a lifetime of togetherness.

Always heartening to see the people who matter walk side by side - it emits a shared sense of love and happiness.

Always BIG on taking the route less travelled 🤍

Some stories unfold so effortlessly, you almost forget it’s a photoshoot. We began our day in the early hours of an Udaipur morning. We started from Aurika resort .udaipur and then slowly headed to explore the beautiful ruins around. The sun’s rays were gleaming onto the tombs, making for the perfect slow sun kissed frames that felt like poetry in motion.

Shooting Disha & Ayush felt so natural - stolen glances, unposed moments and laughter that didn’t need a cue. After a quick break, we continued to explore the busy and bustling streets of Udaipur where we came across a scooter - where Disha and Ayush unwinded into this vibrant chaos.

Mid-shoot when we were walking around; they noticed a few furry friends - in an instant the shoot took a backseat. They were both completely lost in petting and playing. In their happy place was a reminder to always be yourself - it’s also the time when we get the best of you!

A wedding is a collection of unspoken moments stitched together with love - the little things that we feel about so intensely.

Aditi’s special day was adorned with love, grace and moments etched forever.

From a quiet room where Aditi was getting decked up to sharing glances that said more than words ever could. The first brush of makeup to the final pin in place to the hush of anticipation.

I love documenting these unguarded emotions. It’s a reminder of beautifully imperfectly perfect love can be ❤️

Some weddings leave a mark not because of the big celebrations, but because of the quiet, beautiful moments in between. Rebecca and Jovan’s day unfolded like a gentle song, with moments that felt both ordinary and extraordinary 🫰🏻

No rush, no frenzy - just love thriving in the simplicity of moments shared between people who matter the most. It felt less like an event but more like a gathering of love where everyone literally brought down the dance floor! 🪩

Here, in this moment it taught me how love flows so naturally - no cues, no choreographed shots - just a celebration unfolding so naturally. I was simply there to document the togetherness, the joy and the quiet beauty of the tiniest of things 🏝️

Yes, weddings are all about love. But they’re also about - friends who’ve become family, laughter with some weird inside jokes, the unspoken bond that holds it all together.

Watching such incredible people come together from different parts of the world to celebrate, cherish and simply have fun is a reminder of the joy and ‘feeling of अपनापन’ that surrounds a wedding day! 🫰🏻

Just nature lending its soft palette with its rare and gentle tones. In an era of elaborate decor, this is a small reminder how the most natural backdrops are sometimes simply perfect.

Laurie and Fabio’s union was a dream to capture—one of those gatherings where everything just flowed naturally. As a photographer, I walked into this event with little knowledge of what to expect, but the experience unfolded so beautifully.

The day began with a simple, heartfelt lunch, followed by moments of pure warmth and joy as family and friends gathered to share their love. I witnessed heartfelt speeches, laughter-filled moments with kids, and a special scrapbook made for the couple that held memories from every corner of their lives. It was intimate and emotional, and these moments were unforgettable to document.

As the sun began to set, the celebration transitioned into a stunning sundowner with Avanilaya’s view of the river and the lush tropical surroundings of Goa. The band moved effortlessly from mellow tunes to high-energy performances, setting a joyful, lively vibe that brought everyone together.

With everyone dressed in earthy tones by day and elegant attire by night, this celebration was relaxed yet deeply meaningful—a true cocoon of their closest people. Avanilaya’s intimate setup allowed everyone to simply slow down and enjoy, and I felt incredibly privileged to capture it all.

This was one of those unions that remind me why I love what I do—witnessing these raw, genuine connections without any direction, just capturing people in their element, enjoying the simplicity of the moment. Filled with pure adoration, it was a union of families celebrating our loud two people becoming one in the most picturesque place

Disha and Ayush’s wedding was a true celebration of love, kindness, and connection, set against the breathtaking backdrop of Aurika Resort in Udaipur. Disha, a compassionate and dedicated vet, brings warmth and care to everyone she meets, traits that deeply drew Ayush to her from the very beginning. Her thoughtful nature shone through every moment of the wedding, creating an atmosphere where all guests felt welcome and cherished.

Ayush, admiring her ability to bring joy and connection to others, surprised everyone by going all out for their sangeet with eight dance performances. This special gesture was a beautiful reflection of his love and commitment. Satec Events crafted every detail seamlessly, while familiar faces from Ayush’s cousin’s wedding in Goa made the celebration feel like a joyful reunion of friends and family 💌

Capturing their story felt like documenting a love that goes beyond just the two of them—a love that encompasses family, friends, and the meaningful connections they share. It was an unforgettable experience to photograph, honoring a bond built on kindness, loyalty, and shared joy.
