Traffic Parliament as a part of Auto EXPO 2013 is being organized as an exclusive student oriented event of the expo. The main objective is to create awareness amongst the student fraternity about the various traffic issues faced by Pune city. The motive is to conduct a parliament session to promote constructive discussions and deliberations based on the traffic issues. Inspired by parliamentary
sessions the traffic parliament will be moderated by a Speaker and Dy. It will be a one day event spanning 4 hours and will be held on 20th December. The main agendas will include issues like perenial problems and solutions for BRTS, Traffic awareness, Maintenance of public infrastructure and public transport and metro planning. Participants will include college students from all disciplines. Prizes will be declared for the participants on the basis of the quality of the debate. Participants will not be charged any participation fee. The resolution which will be prepared by the students will be put forward to the pertinent local governing and law enforcement bodies for due considerations.
