Techvaganza, the annual technical festival of National Institute of Technology, Srinagar, is going to be held in the last week of October this year. The preparations for the fest are in top gear and the management is revealing the events now. One such important event is “Racing”, where the different teams will present their car models and race among themselves to emerge as winners. The rule is simple “be the first one on the finish line and you will be the winner". Considering the importance of this event and the standard of the fest, there are obviously some twists in the racing event. The most interesting and challenging twist in the tale is that, the model must run on a fuel that is produced by a chemical reaction and the reaction must occur inside the vehicle while racing. The other technicalities and periphery of the competition will be announced at the right time. Teams from the state and around the country will be taking part in Techvaganza. Teams from major technical institutes of the country are also expected to be a part of Jammu and Kashmir's largest technical festival. There is a positive and energetic vibe around the NIT Srinagar campus and also among the students, as Techvaganza is the solo major technical festival of the state where anyone can showcase his/her talent. Techvaganza provides the national level platform for students to interpret their ideas and talent in the form of technology. Students have been very eagerly waiting for the “Racing” event and many have already started working on their projects. Students will be battling and sweating it out on the race track among themselves. Students equipped with knowledge, technical appetite, intelligence, power and tricks will leave no stone unturned in order taste glory in the form of victory. “Racing” event of Techvaganza’18 is not going to be easy by any stretch of imagination but it is surely going to be interesting and lots of fun. It will definitely be a crowd puller and will stir up your technical and creative juices. So, on your mark, get set and GO!!!
