LINE UP ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

Meewakching are a neo-psychedelic, post-punk revival band from Imphal. The band came to its final form in the early 2019. Within a year of coming together, they performed at various cafes and festivals in their hometown. They released their debut EP, "Ekhenglakta" in August 2020, and recieved a positive response from the local audience that led them to earn a dedicated following within the state of Manipur.

Gradually they have been recieving attention from outside the state and non-Manipuri listeners as well despite their songs primarily written in Manipuri, a regional language. They released their debut studio album titled, "Thengmankhre Hee Ado Lakpa, Eikhoidi Sikhiba Kuire Erolnungda" which is both critically acclaimed and praised by their listeners as well.

Project RJH is an experimental rock band based in Imphal. Their tracks employ elements of post-rock by exploring textures and timbre over traditional rock song structures, chords, or riffs. Also, their sound leans toward the progressive side of sound whilst the abandonment of rock conventions is clear so as to decrease the resemblance musically to contemporary rock genres.
Most of the songs that they perform are from the discography of the eponymous frontman and vocalist, RJH. Formed in early 2019 by RJH (vocals, guitar), with Gee Yumnam (guitar) & Arwin Heigrujam (fromer drummer), they have performed in various concerts in and around Imphal.

Catch them perform tracks from their INTUITION EP on the 10th of December!

⚠️⚠️⚠️ GIG ALERT, PEOPLE!!! ⚠️⚠️⚠️

The question, "Is rock music dead?" gets louder and clearer every year with the mainstream culture diluting the gritty ethos of rock music into some washed-down asset for mass consumption. 😷

However, this question is futile, as rock music is far from dead, even more alive than before; it just happens to be out of the spotlight. Rock music thrives, evolves, and remains unaffected like a sentient species that will strike again. 🦋🐞🐾

This concert (with carefully selected acts) is a statement to negate the redundant question, a glaring answer against the question, "Is rock music dead?". We'll see/hear on the 4th 😈
