Planners keep you organized, but did you know capturing them on camera involves a lot of planning too? Believe it or not, it involves meticulous planning just like using one! We were delighted at the opportunity to create images for 2024 planner. Every great image starts with a plan, and this shoot was no exception! We meticulously crafted a mood board, finalized props and backdrops to reflect the planner's target audience, and constantly fine-tuned the scene during the shoot itself. It's a process that requires focus and a keen eye for detail, just like effective planning!

Some moments from the ANZAC Day Service held in Mumbai this year.

The service is to commemorate the Gallipoli landings of 25th April 1915 and all Australians and New Zealanders who have given their lives in the service of their countries.

CONSISTENCY IS KEY.

First Image: we created in 2021 for monkey bar.

Second Image: we created in 2017 a ginger ale drink Blomst.

When we started product shoots, we lacked in gear needed to be the best photographers in town. We often felt that we were not great at something and perhaps it's not a good idea to pitch to new clients till we master product styling, have all the shiny lighting gear and lenses.

But the truth is: YOU WILL NOT MASTER SOMETHING TILL YOU DON’T PRACTICE CONSISTENTLY. Which meant working with real life clients and understanding their problems and helping them create the best possible images. We kept our pricing pretty low till we reached a stage where we had mastered the craft.
Here’s what we learnt in the process:
✅ TAKE OPPORTUNITIES THAT COME YOUR WAY: We took the risk of working on new projects, learnt things on the go and didn't wait.
✅ PRACTICE PRACTICE: Keep practicing consistently. Try to pitch yourself to new clients so that you get to work with different products. Maybe you can charge them less and create something of value for them till you master the skill.
✅ DON’T BE AFRAID: Believe in yourself, be open to making mistakes and learn from them. Have a good peer network to learn skills from your industry. Be open to learning.

It is always a heartful experience to shoot for a children's event. Just the spark of sheer joy and lots of free screaming around makes the photos come alive. Unlike adults kids display raw emotions and most don't really pose for the camera. And if they do pose, then they are their most genuine selves.

That's why we love clicking kids events!
