We remember reading an article in January that 2024 set new trends for clothing, one of which is the inclination to earthy tones. Trends are not only for fashion or just the clothes you wear, it’s about something everything wants to see in the coming season.

We’ve rather been following this trend for a long time for it’s timelessness. This look was made keeping the evergreen neutrals of ivory, beige, taupe and browns to create a seamless blend of earthy elements and modern aesthetics. Dainty florals on tables, not like the elaborate kinds; cabanas made with canvas along with tassels in soft greys and curtains made of white ‘Shola’ flowers; wooden furniture and muted upholsteries.

When two people absolutely opposite to each other get married, it also brings two worlds together. Friends and families slowly get to know each other. For a mad party, you need people in their maddest self! Ice breaking doesn’t always have to be cliche, we create memories and experiences which bring you all together and give you a good laugh. What’s a wedding function without some fun games we plan at AROOSI- for this couple it was a ‘GUESS WHO’ game played by all their friends and family! What a way to know who knows you more, eh?

Our core belief: ‘Beauty does not come through disruption of space, it comes through understanding and amplifying it’.
We are privileged to work in the most beautiful properties, like The Raffles here. The battle is to balance the design to avoid two things -‘to overdo and to overdose.’ The space must breath, and so must you.
One can always find ways to showcase the scenery along with delicate structures, if they wish to. And this is a principle we try to follow and see through.

Symmetry and OCD is the best form of expression for us at Aroosi. You’ll see us walking around measuring distances through steps, getting furnitures aligned with a rope, placing cushions in a certain style with pointed edges, scallops measured with measuring tapes, custom accessories placed on each table, ironing the linen on site to remove all creases, hand folding custom napkins in different ways through all events, throws and rugs on all lounge seatings giving it the oomph! EACH AND EVERY nook of the setup is to be done to perfection, anything less is not acceptable and will not be done!

This setup was all about reminiscence. Taking inspiration from the old world's charm: Massive Aangans(couryards) of village homes, with lawns till where the eyes can see, lush mango and lemon trees, birds chirping in through the trees and occasional visits from monkeys and deers!
