I usually get emotional when the bride arrives at the Church or during vows exchanges but this time it was different. My first teardrop fell about 1h earlier, the moment I reached the entrance.
A flower decor dreamt together with the bride for one year was now turned into reality. No, better, it was ways beyond my expectations 🌸

So excited to start planning my first destination wedding in Bologna in 2022. Can’t wait to be back in July with my lovely couple and dream about their big day. I guess it won’t be so difficult with this venue! 💛

I’ve spent some time during the weekend to look again at all the photos.
Can’t stop dreaming of that magical day , like in a movie, 80 guests dressed in 30’s style crowded the little square of Trequanda while the whole village (probably no more than 50 people) was looking out of the window with curiosity: first wedding since months, first costume wedding ever happened 👒

Creativity neees to be fed.
Yesterday I had a super delicious “creativity feeding-day” with 20 ladies coming from all over Italy and Europe.
I “ate” in order:
- how to create a field over a hat and strike a pose pretending it’s the easiest thing to wear
- how to transforms an orange in a jewel
- how much important are olfactory memories in your entire life
- how to transform the word creativity through textile painting over a T-shirt
- how fantastic are summer dinners under the stars, especially when setting up the table all together at the golden hour
- how essential is to connect and share experiences with beautiful and curious souls, certainly the “main course” of a masterfully organised by Clara and Eva
one of the rare certainties of the last few months.

The power of fabrics.
I’ve worked surrounded by fabrics all my life. From fashion to interior decor fabrics have always taken an important role in each of my jobs (yes, I’ve done quite a lot of different things!?!) and still are one of the first thing I think about when designing an event: a tablecloth, a drapery, a ribbon for a bouquet or a robe for a bride getting ready.
