Smile. I’m heading to 40s today…not yet but almost there 😜I love these pics because they describe perfectly how I’m feeling right now: on one side very happy about my life, new meetings and projects happening and on the other side very focused on the weddings schedule. I didn’t expect so many “unexpected things” happening in the last couple of months: thanks God I’m lucky enough to be surrounded by beautiful people that spread good vibes around. Let’s keep on smiling (definetely let’s have some more laugh!) and cheers to the best always yet to come!🥂

Oggi mi avvicino ai 40…non ancora eh 😜 Queste 2 immagini descrivono perfettamente come mi sento ora: da un lato felice di ciò che vivo al momento, dall’altro concentrata sul mio lavoro e i matrimoni in arrivo. Non mi aspettavo accadessero tante cose inaspettate negli ultimi 2 mesi: per fortuna a volte incontrare nuove belle persone con tanta energia positiva è ciò che serve. Continuiamo a sorridere dunque (anzi facciamoci una risata in più ogni tanto!) e un brindisi al bello che come sempre ci sarà!🥂

It’s a bit like the calm before the storm…We’re almost there heading into a full-no stop wedding season.
Last site inspections for a final check are an important task during these weeks.
It’s not only about viewing the wedding location and studying the logistic issues together with the providers: it’s about getting connected with the local area.
Discovering places around, restaurants, beach clubs and any kind of facilities and at the same time all the natural beauties that make a place unique.
Get the vibes, feel a place and then communicate it!

Un inizio anno che mi ha fatto riflettere molto. Sugli ultimi due anni, su cosa è cambiato, sulle prospettive non sempre certe soprattutto in questo lavoro.

Abbiamo vissuto situazioni pesanti, mai viste prima, che ricorderemo per sempre e che in qualche modo ci hanno forgiato.

Nonostante questo è bello trovare incredibilmente ancora positività e soprattutto la leggerezza di cui tutti abbiamo bisogno ora più che mai.

Quest’anno Le Jour du Oui festeggerà i suoi 10 anni e non vedo l’ora di ricominciare a condividere con voi momenti belli, backstage, alti e bassi di questa professione complicata e incredibile allo stesso tempo!

Nella foto Giorgio e Giulia: dopo 3 posticipi,innumerevoli voli a/r Italia-Dubai e infiniti cambiamenti ce l’abbiamo fatta!Non so se percepite la leggerezza di cui si parla sopra, io ne ho ancora un ricordo stupendo!

Many thoughts about the beginning of this year. A lot of changements happened and there’s still a lot of uncertainty.

We had to live heavy situations, never seen before, that we probably remind forever and that in some way shaped us.

In anycase it’s amazing to get positivity and some levity we need in our everyday life.

This year Le Jour du Oui will celebrate 10 yrs and I can’t wait to restart sharing with you all the beautiful moments and the crazy backstages of this complicated and incredible job!

In this picture Giulia and Giorgio: after 3 postponements, countless flights to Dubai and back, and so many changements we made it!Not sure you can feel that levity I was talking about, that’s such a beautiful memory!

Si conclude un anno intenso, ricco di situazioni incredibili e colpi di scena last minute.

Un anno che ci ha emozionato come mai prima d’ora: abbiamo condiviso con le nostre coppie sconforto e speranza, sorrisi e lacrime, risate e festeggiamenti.

Personalmente mi porto tutto questo con gratitudine e come arricchimento alla mia professione, che come sapete non si finisce mai di imparare.

Brindo con tutti voi a un 2022 ancora più intenso e pieno di momenti felici…magari con un po’ di tranquillità in più!🥂

An intensive and full of incredible last minute moments year is finishing right now.

A year that involves all our emotions: we shared with our couples dejection and hope, smiles and tears, laugh and fun.

Personally I bring all of this with gratitude and as a great treasure for my job, that as you probably knows, it never finishes to make you learn.

Cheers to all of you for a 2022 full of happy moments…and maybe with a bit more of serenity! 🥂
