"At the ”Outward Soul” group exhibition at the Onart Gallery in Florence, Italy I exhibit ”The Wine Had Gone To The Head” oil painting, which tells the story of the influence of drinking wine on expression of the true self of a human being. After ”The Wine Had Gone To The Head” the soul of the person drinking wine is going out and it is hard to hold on a social mask. Attention: ”In vino veritas” - your social mask is in danger and your soul, if you have a soul, is seen for others. If you don't have a soul, which is quite common, your lack of soul is seen for others. "

"My work created for the exhibition is Annunciation. It is a popular subject of Renaissance painting. Florentine artists also painted it many times. Gabriel Angel comes to Virgin Mary and announces that she will be the Mother of Jesus. A floating celestial phenomenon. They are accompanied by two angels. The image format is threefold, but takes place in an imaginary space. The inner soul is touched by the outer."

"The picture shows a woman drying herself in towels after swimming. She looks into the distance, unconcerned. It is late summer. What is going through the woman's mind? The wavy pattern scratched out of the picture shows what is invisible. Perhaps it is the vulnerability of human beings and their transience, or perhaps it is just the wind rushing loudly around her ears. The waves are like a curtain through which you can see - the picture takes on a new meaning. The viewer should remain in the dark as to what exactly the waves mean, and yet they show what is hidden."

"Adaption was made especially for the Nartwork Exhibition “Outward Soul” and made during my July Art Residency at R.A.R.O. Barcelona in Barcelona. I was inspired by the environment of Barcelona and this played a big part when choosing the patterns and colors within the piece. This piece is all about making sure that we do not forget ourselves when change both exciting and challenging comes our way. To hold onto what makes us unique and not to loose ourselves in the process."

By Denis Chyżawski

at Outward Soul Exhibition in Florence

The perception of reality is the focus of the research of Denis, Polish artist; the communicative power of his abstract works is totalizing and at the same time mysterious, in fact, through its shapes, its colors, its lights and its shadows, Denis manages to create unique interior landscapes. In the series of works ""Insight"", creates jet without preparation, giving rise to unique works.

Another protagonist in his works is color: the use of bright and saturated colors in order to capture the attention of the viewer and guide him through the composition of the work. This bold use of color creates an engaging and stimulating visual effect."

""Corps et Âme" Oil on Canvas, collage
Corps et Âme symbolizes humankind in all its states from chaos to perfection, captivity and freedom, complexity and lightness, beauty and darkness, to love and hate. Humans in all its contradictions and complexity
are in constant search for their truth and profoundly guided by their souls.
Colours have an important part in depicting light, transparency relates to lightness and freedom. "

"La finestra come espressione visiva, rivelatrice di ciò che è all’esterno o all’interno dello spazio reale o spirituale dell’anima artistica di ogni essere umano. Il delimitare gli spazi con colori piatti e netti come riflessi di ciò che vibra attraverso l’occhio primo approccio all’anima. La spazialità del tempo appare gestuale e libera attraverso le pennellate fluide come lo scandire del tempo."
