Villa Erba Como lake
Thanks to its position directly on the waterfront, Villa Erba is a truly magical setting for an exclusive wedding day. One of the things most impressive in Villa Erba are the ancient frescoes. The precious inlaid ceilings and Mannerist rooms. Symbolic ceremonies can be organized outdoors on the lawn by the lakeside or right in front of the façade of the Villa.
One of the many perks of this wedding venue is that a bride and/or groom can arrive by boat directly from the water for a truly grand entrance! Guests can have a water entrance as well, should you choose to plan for boat arrivals.
Cocktail hour and dinner reception can take place outdoors.
For larger groups, the villa can host a seated dinner for up up to 400 guests. In order to achieve this, a tent should be built outside for a dancing area and ceremony. And I love a marquis crystal tent in this location! For smaller groups, up to 220 guests, there are multiple rooms available, each with their own character and style.
Though I suggest keeping the center room as the main dancing area, in order to reunite your guests for the key moments like the first dance, cutting of the cake, and late night celebrating!
Dancing is allowed inside till 4:00 am.
