Hey Friends!

It's winter so there isn't much photographing going on.. I am incredibly bored and I am really missing being out documenting. However, there is plenty of things to keep my busy in my slow season. One of those things is planning for 2025. In organizing my plans for the year I have come to the conclusion I absolutely need to block out some months to weddings so I don't overbook.

I will be honest the months I do have available aren't exactly wide open either. Please reach out as soon as possible to secure a date! I will allow for 20% deposits for the months still available to be more flexible with those who were hoping to book. Just let me know when you are booking you would like this option! (typically it's 40% deposit)

Some reasons I need to make sure I am not overbooking:

1. I like to give a personal experience to my clients. If I overbook myself for a particular month it is incredibly hard to do that. I am for the most part a one-lady show over here and that lady likes to get super invested in my clients. If I have too many I would be spreading myself too thin to help my couples.

2. I don't want to rush edits. I pride myself on having quick turn arounds. But, if I am overbooked I might need to do edits faster to meet deadlines and I never want to rush your photos!

3. I also need to think about my current/returning clients to have session times available for booking or weather reschedules. If I book too many dates I won't be able to be flexible to get all my clients their dream sessions!

**If you have already had a consultation with me you are not subject to the blackout months. I will absolutely still book you**

Something about winter sunsets 😍

Jack and Jess fit an engagement session in during their trip to New Jersey and chose Batsto Village and they SHOWED UP! Their outfit choices were perfect! I had so much fun getting to know these two and documenting their love. I can't wait for their wedding.. and the warm weather that we will have by then too 😉

Lynnsie & Ryan are my first "snow chasers" for this year! And mother nature delivered 😍

I have had the pleasure of documenting both Lynnsie's sisters weddings so it was so sweet to get her email that she was ready for her turn!

Lynnsie and Ryan look warm and toasty together, but they were indeed actually freezing lol We kept the vibes up to distract us from our numb fingers and sniffles and we got the prettiest winter engagement shoot!

It was so great to get out with my camera after taking time off for the holidays. I am so glad they wanted a winter session!

It's always so nice to see Ashley and her family! I grew up with Ashley and every time I see her for some reason I specifically think about the time we snuck her into my mom's car to try to take her home so we didn't have to stop playing. I tried to hide her on the floor of the back seat under a bunch of plastic bags. It didn't work because plastic bags are much louder then I realized. 😅

We had a lot of great memories growing up. So it's really special now to get to see her and document her family these days. She is such a great momma and I am so happy for her and her family. ❤️

Get to know the Photographer..

Shauna Schneeman at Milestone Photography is South Jerseys Newest Leading Wedding and Portrait Photographer. After studying at New York Institute of Photography in 2015. Shauna completed her portfolio and is running the business out of Folsom in Atlantic County! Currently specializing in weddings, engagement, families, maternity, children and Fresh 48. She offers flexible scheduling and reasonable pricing to best accommodate her clients. One of the things that separate her from the competition is all packages she offers include digital enhancement & digital images with printing rights.

Shauna is the wife of an Army veteran and a mother of 2 little boys. A dental assistant by trade with a love for photography and event planning! She took on photography while her husband was stationed in Fort Myer, VA when a coworker asked her to take her son’s newborn photos. Immediately purchasing a DSLR camera and enrolling in New York Institute of Photography to pursue her new passion. Once her husband’s contract with the Army ended they moved home to raise their children around family. Once the roots were set Milestone Photography’s “doors” opened!

Like all mother’s Shauna holds tight to her babies knowing time slips by.. quick. Her goal as your photographer is to help you freeze the moment in all it’s perfections so you can treasure it forever.
