Various musicians from our co-op will be playing throughout the day, including a folk duo (late morning) and the No Strings Attached Quartet (1:30). Piano Strings (duo) have their own stall, so you can talk to them directly.

I've just been catching up on some admin; apologies for the delay if you've emailed us in the last week or so. The end of the school term is always a busy time as many of us teach, and we're also in peak rehearsal period for the AMAZING Jersey Symphony Orchestra concert this Saturday ("Be there or be a rectangular thingy").

If you're a classical music noob, the "Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra" which we're playing in this concert will be a fantastic introduction; if you are an expert, you'll appreciate the virtuosity of the piece which showcases every section in the orchestra from the piccolo to the tuba.

Tickets are still available, and children's tickets are only £2.

It's been an interesting month. We managed a violin trio while No Strings Attached simultaneously played a quartet, and some of us have just returned from playing at Government House. And we're starting to receive some more enquiries of a folky nature, which is great! Keep them coming!

String duo Due Archi are also taking bookings for 2019 and 2018. They have an increasing repertoire of modern favourites, as well as well-known Classical pieces.

So we've just been talking to a lady about her wedding in July, trying to settle on a mixture of classical standards, a couple of hymns and some favourite pop songs..
