Wedding Reveal🎇 In 2022, I started secret weddings. Weddings where we'd have the formal consultation, but there's no detailed invoice breakdown or design proposal. The clients and I would just discuss the colors and how they want to feel when they walk in. Then, 12 months later they'd walk into the magic. At first, I lost a few clients who were hesitant to that idea. But then there are the ones like @therichandrawgirl who's only reply was "I like the sound of that, let's do it" The idea of a secret wedding design takes the notion of trusting the process to a whole new level. A wedding is a once in a lifetime experience. It's one of the biggest days of a woman's life. So to go against all odds and trust a stranger whom you do not know from a can of paint to shut it down takes great faith. That kind of faith I cherish and will forever hold dearly. I was behind the bride at the gasp and the "Oh Wow!!" that for me meant that I did infact shut it down. 🎇 Then, for confirmation, she turned to me and said "10/10 love it" I was lowkey doing cartwheels inside and when @cubbythecreator started clapping I damn near fainted 😂 I was like yesssss! My year in review. I'll forever brag about my elite clientele! It's a pleasure designing all of these amazing secret wedding collections. I'm honored to have been trusted to execute these precious designs for my very special clients and their guests. My clients are elites who all have impeccable taste. Once they decide to book me, they leave me to get to work (behind the scenes), which is a feeling very few will experience. My favorite part of my year was watching each couple witness what their decor looked like during their room reveals, the screams, the tears. the laughter and the relief. A wave of emotions each time. Review from @thisishelenadavis I'm primarily a late sleeper, and so is Helena, I saw an email at 2:00AM, and I wasn't sleeping, so I was like...can I call you for a second? I'm not into the long emails back and forth with any potential client- I value my time, a 30min to 1hr call normally gives us both all the info we need to see if we're a good fit for each other as well as highlight budget etc. It was 2:00AM!!!..BUT....I do not believe in putting off what's great. So a 2:00 AM phone call it was! 🤣🤣🤣 That call lead to a very harmonious and stress free planning and design experience. #dreamclient Helena trusted my expertise and guidance in every way, I'd literally ask her a question, and she'd always go, "Whatever you choose." This bride was absolutely uninvolved, unbothered, and had absolutely no anxiety.. She had not the slightest idea about any detail of the wedding outside of song selection, colors, and location. Grateful for gratitude. For all my projects this year I've been blessed to be recognized for my design and most importantly my time.
