A VERY SPECIAL PIANO

This piano was my Grandmother’s. The great educator Daphne K Vidal Smith, OD. The piano is over 60 years old. Our family has held on to it all these years. My mother and her brother played this piano. had her first piano lesson on this instrument and spent many hours doing lessons and practicing (albeit reluctantly for the practicing part) throughout her growing years. My brothers and I did or own few lessons on this piano.

Grandma taught many piano lessons to others on this piano (.e.nevers ).

Our family (her son and her 4 grandchildren) has restored and now donated it in her beloved memory to where she was the founding principal.

We hope many young musicians will now enjoy lessons on this piano and elicit sweet music from it.
