this year… blessings…testimony 🙏🏽
God has shown Himself to me in ways…miraculously.
if ever i had a reason to celebrate, it’s this year, but yet, for this very reason it further refines my view of celebration… the irony, as an event planner.
but still, it’s more of who i’ve always been: less is more, quality over quantity, depth over frivolity, authenticity over appearances, deep connection over temporal things.
some of you are new to my page and some of you have been here with me through the years, but i felt like i should introduce myself again:
hi, i’m Aiesha, the meaning of my name is life, also beauty… go figure… i am a child of God, a woman after the heart of God, i imbibe beauty as a part of my daily digest… because i know that the way we show up in this world is out of the abundance of our heart.
my work is my ministry, and every thing is to bring us all to a place ✨🙏🏽🤍
it’s my birthday… i’m not counting years, just moments that take my breath away… thanking God for this gift of life that’s filled with that 🍃

the making of a jamaica-inspired table for @jamaicaobserver Rock Fab Living 🍃 but before that, this: #pussbackfoot started as a hunch, a gamble really… to explore something i enjoyed and seemed to have a knack for… which was to make things look beautiful and make my guests feel really special. didn’t know how it would evolve, but i always knew at its core, would celebrate this magical place i’m blessed to call home 🇯🇲… starting with the name: #pussbackfoot - a part of a a Jamaican colloquial phrase which means “boasy” (uber) style. fast forward 13 years later, Pussbackfoot has been quietly rebellious about discarding imported ideas of what is “proper” and reshaping a notion that the things from “foreign” are better than our own. as i shared with some friends the other day what i know deep in my heart: God didn’t create #Jamaica to be a third world nation!
