This is what the Roman amphitheaters looked like 2000 years ago.
There are many Roman amphitheaters in Jordan, such as the Roman Amphitheater in downtown Amman, the North and South Theaters in Jerash, the Umm Qais Theater, the Beit Ras Theater, and the Bella Tabaqat Fahl Theater.
It is noteworthy that the wooden columns from above had sails placed on them, like sailing ships, to cover the amphitheater and protect the audience from the sun's rays.
