This is why I love planning multicultural weddings!

Their deeply personalized ceremony was conducted by the bride’s aunt, accompanied by a live flute performance by the groom’s sister. A special applause goes to their bilingual friend, who did an amazing job as the MC throughout the reception.

We aimed for an easy-going and relaxing atmosphere, and it truly was, thanks to the thoughtful details of entertainment we planned in two languages and across two different cultures. Their wedding was unique and cheerful at all times. I especially loved how the bride and groom took the time to introduce each guest at the beginning of the party, sharing why each person was important to them, along with brief anecdotes.

It's almost been two months since the earthquake hit Noto but many residents are still living in evacuation shelters. I've received a couple of messages from overseas 🌏 saying we'd like to donate but don't know how. Finally I’d like to share with you what Yama-san, the owner of Satoyama Marugoto Hotel is doing and how we can support them for English speakers.

Here's what he says:
The area has always had a various problems, including depopulation. Simply restoring wouldn’t be enough. We must aim for creative reconstruction. My first priority now is to help damaged lives in Noto get back on their feet before I start thinking about reopening my hotel.

We’d appreciate your support for our activities so that life in the Noto Peninsula, with its beautiful Satoyama and Satoumi, can be made even better than it was before the disaster.

The money you support will be used for…
- Funding for reconstruction activities
- Personnel expenses for those involved in Noto's recovery

喧嘩して、もう家を出ようなんて考えた時もあったけど、そんな時いつも結婚式のことを思い出すんです。あの日があったから今の私達があるから、今もこれから先も一生感謝しています。

その言葉が嬉しくて、証 さんが撮った家族写真がまたすごく温かくて、結婚式をつくる仕事をしていて本当に良かったと、熱い涙が出る。心にたくさんの栄養をもらった一日。

Eloping in Nagano to see their memory of flowers, peach trees. You've probably had chances to see cherry blossoms, but I'd also recommend peach trees! It has become my new way of enjoying spring and when this season comes, I'd always think of you both. Love you my friend!

結婚式当日の写真を見返していると、本当にふたりはずーっと笑ってて、ふたりを囲む笑顔がたくさんある。その笑顔を見るたびに不思議と私も笑顔になる。

人生の中で、結婚式はほんの一瞬だけど、この先ふたりが年をとった時、ふたりで一緒に歩んできたことを振り返る時、結婚式の日のことを思い返してくれたら幸せです。心からおめでとう🧚‍♀️✨

I realise how much I love the bride and groom when I look back those photographs. Their smiles make me smile. No matter how old you get, I hope weddings are the unforgettable memories of your life together that will never get old.

数日前、植物は私達に聞こえない周波数で実は自ら音を出しているということが科学的に証明されたみたい🌿
作物に音学を聴かせると良く育つと言うのは聞くけど、彼らも自分達で歌ったり話したりしているのかもな〜と想像を膨らませてなんだかとても嬉しくなって、いつも以上に植物達に話しかけてみる🧚‍♀️✨

A few days ago researchers found that plants aren’t silent and they actually make sounds that are undetectable to the human ear. My imagination of plants talking to us and singing each other might become true…💫

パーティーの結びの挨拶で「家族になるってこういうことなんだなって、今日実感できました。」と、新郎の堪えきれなかった涙と新婦の笑顔。ゲストの顔を見ると同じように涙を流しながら笑ってた。

お互いの大切な人が集まってお祝いして、スタッフも含めて初めて会う人同士も皆、何十人って人が一つになって同じ気持ちを共有してる。目に見えない、この日の空気と温度が私はたまらなく好き。

何年経っても思い返す度にじんわりと人の心を温めてくれる結婚式をこれからも創り続けていたい。今週末も気を引き締めて頑張ろう💒✨

The groom said in tears, "Wedding made me realised what it means to be a family." and the guests smiled with tears. At weddings, lots of people including staff who had maybe never met before, gathered together to celebrate with each other's loved ones, sharing the same feeling as one. I love the warm atmosphere and touching moments of this day, which is invisible to the eye but your heart can feel. I want to continue creating weddings that warm people's hearts every time they think back on them, no matter how many years have passed.

Got a bike for myself so I can choose an environmentally friendly way whenever it's possible. Found a nice little garden in my neighbourhood on the way back home today!

先日整理収納アドバイザー講座を受けてガンディーの言葉を思い出した。
“The world has enough for everyone's need, but not enough for everyone's greed.”
「地球には人類が必要なモノは全て揃っているが、全ての人の欲望に応えることはできない。」

豊かな国にはたくさんの選択肢があるけれど、必要以上のモノを欲望のままに消費し続けていれば資源は不足し犠牲を伴う。

一人一人がモノとの向き合い方を考えて、適正量の暮らしを送ることができればより多くの人が豊かに暮らせる未来に近づくかもしれない。

結婚式を担当した新郎新婦のマタニティフォトが届きました🤰💫
一枚ずつ写真を見ながらクスッとなったり、笑顔に癒されて、私もそこにいたみたいに幸せを分けてもらいました。

言葉にすると少し大袈裟だけど、結婚式を終えた後こうして夫婦の人生の傍らにいられることが心から嬉しくて、なんとも言えない熱い涙がじんわり出る。

やっぱり、改めて結婚式って偉大だと感じました。これ以上私の心を熱くしてくれるものは他にない。

こんなにも写真からふたりの人柄が滲み出た、いつも独自の楽しい世界観で想い出を残してくれる証さん ありがとう。歩夢くん、未冴ちゃんありがとう。

この撮影会が、新しい家族を迎えるふたりにとって最高の一日になったんだ、ということが写真から伝わってきたので嬉しくて記録…✍️
