実によくできた学会だと
思いますのは、
薬膳、健康関連の情報取得に関する
分別（ふんべつ）の重要性を説いた後に
具体的に効果のある食材の
授業があることです。
本講演では糖尿病でも90％以上の割合になる「２型糖尿病」に効果のある食品について学びました。
「予防」することの結果を実感することって
大変難しいものですよね？＾＾
なにが良かったのか？目に見えて効果が分からない。
分からないからこそ、コツコツと
学び、実践をしていくことの重要性を教えていただきました。

I believe this is a very well-organized conference.
After emphasizing the importance of discernment in obtaining information related to medicinal herbs and health, there is a specific lesson on food ingredients that are effective.
In this lecture, we learned about foods that are effective for "type 2 diabetes," which affects more than 90% of diabetes patients.
It is very difficult to feel the results of "prevention," isn't it? ^^
What exactly was good? It’s hard to see the visible effects.
Because we can’t see it, we were taught the importance of steadily learning and putting it into practice.

というスローガンを掲げて
お贈りした日本薬膳学会学術総会
としては、
これだけの多くの方々に
関心をお寄せ頂いていることに
深い感謝を申し上げる次第です。

話題の「紅麹」が果たして
安全なのか？危険なのか？
という、
人命にもつながるテーマでしたが、

真偽定かでない沢山の情報が
交錯する中で、いかに
正しい情報を入手することが
できるかということの
大切さを学びました。

余談ですが

容器一本を
一気に飲めば致死量ですよね？

食の情報に関しては
冷静に見極め、ジャッジをし、
無駄に経済や食品業界に
被害を与えないことも、
広い視点では重要だと
感じ、そのような役割をも
果たすべきと感じたお時間でした＾＾

I would like you to take a look at the third photo.

With the slogan "Life is in food,"
we hosted the Japanese Society of Food Therapy's scientific conference,
and I am deeply grateful to see so many people showing interest.

The topic of whether the well-known "Red Yeast Rice" is safe or dangerous
was a theme that relates directly to human lives.

In the midst of a lot of conflicting, unverified information,
I learned the importance of obtaining accurate information.

As a side note,
whether it's salt or vinegar,
drinking an entire bottle in one go could reach a lethal dose, right?

When it comes to food information,
it is important to calmly assess and judge it,
so as not to cause unnecessary harm to the economy or the food industry.
From a broader perspective, this was an insightful moment. ^_^

9th Annual Meeting of the Japan Association of Medicinal Food Science
~ Medicinal Food Marche ~
On the day of the event, we had a wonderful selection of items that are gentle on both the body and mind, including ingredients, books, and goods, all carefully chosen by the Medicinal Food Association.
I personally purchased a bergamot aromatherapy spray, and I’ve been using it by spraying it on my pillow before bed. It has helped me relax immensely. 😊
Additionally, I got a lot of sweet mandarins and books, and I’m now enjoying a healthy life while soaking in the afterglow of the Medicinal Food Association event. 😊
When we think of an academic conference, we often imagine something formal, but it’s wonderful that such a lovely marché is available for free admission!
I hope everyone can visit next time and enjoy it!

To celebrate the 1st Anniversary of reimeiCOFFEE and the Grand Opening of Higashi Marunouchi Shokudo, we are hosting an event in the alley around 12-4 Higashi Marunouchi, Tsu City!!

The event is called "Higashi Marunouchi Communication" (Higamaru Communication).

The event will feature famous and skilled coffee shops from across the country, Japanese tea shops, and a variety of other stores, including a bakery, a kiln for Iga pottery, and curry from a pioneering Kyoto-style townhouse cafe. In addition, there will be workshops and installations by artists, creators, and designers who would never typically be found in an alley like this, as well as live music and much more. So many high-quality, professional shops and individuals will gather in one place—it’s almost unbelievable! And all of this will happen in just one day, for only six hours! You are invited to experience and feel the "possibilities of an alley" in such a luxurious, dreamlike atmosphere.

◤「阿漕平治物語」と「東京大寿司のやがら寿司」◢

津市の人気店「キッチンワークペコリーノ」さんにて行われたイベントに行って参りました♪

・阿漕伝説とは津に数百年前から伝わる伝説
・和歌にも詠まれるような全国的に有名な地名である
・津市の上宮寺（じょうぐうじ）さんは飛鳥時代から続く古寺
・阿漕伝説にも出てくる現存するすごいお寺
・阿漕伝説の主人公は平治さん
・その伝説にちなんで作られた平治煎餅
・大正から100年以上ご愛顧頂いているお菓子
・阿漕伝説にでてくる病弱の母親に食べさせたお魚「やがら」
・その「やがら」を使ったお寿司をご提供
・お寿司を握って下さったのは大寿司の松田大将
・最後にペコリーノさんのデザートで締め括り
・お土産に平治煎餅をお持ち帰り頂く

大変良いお時間を過ごすことができました♪

I recently attended an event called "Akogi Heiji Story" and "Tokyo Grand Sushi's Yagara Sushi" at the popular restaurant "Kitchen Work Pecorino" in Tsu City.

The Akogi Legend is a tale that has been passed down for hundreds of years in Tsu.
It is a nationally famous place mentioned in poetry.
Jōgū-ji Temple in Tsu City is an ancient temple that has been around since the Asuka period.
This remarkable temple also appears in the Akogi Legend.
The protagonist of the Akogi Legend is Heiji.
The "Heiji Senbei" was created in honor of this legend.
It is a beloved snack that has been enjoyed for over 100 years since the Taisho era.
The fish "yagara," which the ailing mother in the Akogi Legend was fed, was also featured.
We were served sushi made with "yagara."
The sushi was prepared by the well-known Chef Matsuda from Tokyo Grand Sushi.
We concluded the event with a dessert from Pecorino.
Participants were able to take home Heiji Senbei as souvenirs.
I had a truly wonderful time!

The main character of the 2026 Taiga drama will be Toyotomi Hidenobu, the younger brother of Toyotomi Hideyoshi.

In an era when the average height during the Edo period was less than 160 cm, Takatora was over 190 cm tall—it's like he would have been around 8 meters tall in modern terms! (laughs)
