Dr. Vagator’s birthday party is coming up at Curlies!
I usually love those dark, peak-hour Goa trance nights, but this time I’ll be playing a sunset set, so I’m planning to bring out sounds that suit the brighter hours instead.
I’d love to weave in some proto-Goa (pre-’93 trance) as well.
Let’s celebrate the start of the season and Dr. Vagator’s birthday together here in Goa!

By the way, this flyer was made by my 15-year-old daughter, Ren!
I was trying to design it myself, but she said she wanted to give it a try — and I’m so glad she did.
3D art with a touch of old-school style, It’s got that nostalgic vibe you don’t really see in the AI-made flyers these days, and I really love it!

Happy birthday to this lifelong gem🩷🩷🥳🩷🩷

Without a doubt, this is the album I’ve listened to the most over the past 30 years—and I still listen to it more than anything else.
I truly love it. Whenever I play it, I feel like I come back to myself.

Before smartphones, I rarely took photos, and after moving abroad, I lost touch with most of my old friends.
So all my memories from the past 30 years are sealed inside this album.
Now, I can’t listen to it without getting emotional—it always brings tears to my eyes.

There were so many times I left parties early because I just had to go home and listen to this album.
It’s beyond love.
I’m basically a devotee of it.

This and Shpongle’s Are You Shpongled?—I honestly believe they’re acts of divine will.
I’m just grateful I got to encounter them.

間違いなくこの３０年で一番多く聞いた、いまだに一番頻繁に聞くアルバム。 本当に大好きで、これを聞くと自分に戻れる。 スマホになる前は写真もほとんど撮らなかったし、海外に引っ越したりで古い友人ともほとんど疎遠になってる。ここ３０年の思い出がこのアルバムに詰まってて今じゃ涙なしには聞けないくらいエモーショナルになる。 何度このアルバムが聴きたくなって、パーティーの途中で家に帰ったことか。 大好きっていうレベルじゃない。 もうこのアルバムの信者。 これとShpongleのare you shoponbled?は神の意思としか思えない。 出会えて良かった。

DAT Universe Announces the Release of “Museum of the Full Moon” by Trân Museus

DAT Universe is proud to announce the long-awaited debut release by Trân Museus, titled Museum of the Full Moon. Scheduled for release on October 5, 2025, this double album unveils one of Goa Trance’s most hidden treasures.

For over three decades, DAT Universe and its team of “sonic archaeologists” have been dedicated to excavating and preserving forgotten sounds, bringing recognition to overlooked artists from the Golden Era of Goa Trance. Following the rediscovery of French pioneers such as Crossing Mind, Opale, Gangguru, and Vedama, the spotlight now turns to the long-elusive Christophe Denizot, the gifted Paris-born musician behind the Trân Museus project.

After years of discreet collaboration with DAT Universe, his visionary work will finally see the light of day. Blending influences from classical, rock, reggae, and ethno sounds, Museum of the Full Moon stands as a testament to his unique sonic journey.

Back in the early to mid-’90s, he also released under the name M.A.N, leaving behind a number of timeless classics.

The Infinity Project ZNA Gathering 2017
I really want to hear Graham Wood’s live set . Seems like he’s got tons of unreleased tracks, and every single one is amazing. I just want to dive completely into that world — preferably at sunrise!
When I heard him at the very first TIP party in Tokyo in ’95 or ’96, it was so mind-blowing that I don’t remember anything — except how insane it was.

Graham Wood先生のライブが今一番聞きたい。アンリリースもいっぱいあるみたいだし、全曲かっこいいし。あの世界にどっぷり浸りたい！できればサンライズに！この時は最後暗くなってるからサンセットにやったんだろうけど。
１９９５か６に東京であったファーストTIPパーティーで聞いた時はやばすぎて何にも覚えてない。やばかったことだけ覚えてる。

I just got back from Japan with a new MacBook!
For the past few months I didn’t have a computer, so I was listening to music from my phone through a Bluetooth speaker. But when I connected to my studio monitors and listened again, the sound was so good it moved me all over again!
The computer I inherited from Hamase-san was sent in for repair, but unfortunately it broke and all the music data was lost. So now I’m building fresh playlists on this new MacBook.
It’s really convenient that I can re-download the tracks I bought on Bandcamp! Back in the days of CDs, if you lost them, they were gone forever—but now I can get everything back.
It’s a bit of a hassle, but as I rebuild my playlists, I’m learning from past mistakes and organizing them better this time so they’ll be easier to use for DJing.
I deleted all the MP3s that friends had given me. In the end, I never used them for DJing anyway because the sound quality wasn’t good enough.
For music I just want to listen to (not DJ with), YouTube or similar is fine.
Since I hadn’t been listening to music properly for a few months, even tracks I was a little tired of now sound fresh again—and I’m really looking forward to my next DJ set 😊
Once I finish re-downloading from Bandcamp, the next step will be ripping my CDs.
That should give me enough music to play for about 3–4 hours.
The next three weeks are going to be busy!
I will be happy if you come to join this party and have fun together !

日本から新しいMacBookと共に帰ってきた！
数ヶ月パソコンがなかったから携帯からBluetooth スピーカーで音楽聞いてたけど、スタジオモニターに繋いで音楽を聴いたら音が良くてあらためて感動！
ハマセさんから受け継いだパソコンは修理に出したけど壊れてしまって音源も全部消えてしまい、今回買った新しいMacBookにあらためてプレイリストを作り中。
Bandcampで買った音をまたダウンロードできるのは本当に便利！昔CDで買っていた時はなくしたら全部なくなったけど今は全部取り戻せる！
面倒だけどプレイリストを新たにつくりながら、過去の失敗からの学びを活かして前よりも整理整頓してDJしやすいプレイリスト作り中。
友達がくれたMP3は全部削除。結局DJでは音質が低いのは使わないから全部消した。
DJで使わないけど聞きたい音楽はYouTube とかでいいかなーってなってる。
数ヶ月ちゃんと音楽聴いてなかったから、ちょっと聞き飽きてた曲がまた新鮮に聞けて次のDJが本当に楽しみ😊
Bandcampが終わったら次はCDの取り込み。
これで３-4時間くらいDJできるようになる。
あと3週間弱忙しい！
現地で友達に会えたら嬉しいです！
インドにいる方がいたらダンスフロアで会いましょう♪
