Last November 3rd, at the break of dawn, we were honored to capture a truly unforgettable moment at the iconic Hakone Shrine. At 6 AM, surrounded by the serenity of the Torii gate reflecting in the still waters of Lake Ashi, a young couple from the Philippines embarked on a new chapter of their love story. With the help of their close friends, the groom-to-be orchestrated a heartfelt surprise proposal that brought tears, laughter, and joyous applause.

This was not just a proposal but a beautifully planned collaboration with Nippon Travel Agency, who ensured the group traveled comfortably around Hakone. What an unforgettable morning! I had the privilege of capturing a beautiful surprise proposal for a wonderful couple from the USA. We started our day bright and early, picking them up from their hotel at 6 AM to ensure we caught the magical sunrise at Lake Kawaguchiko. The serene lake with the majestic Mt. Fuji in the background set the perfect stage for this special moment.

We then made our way to the iconic Chureito Pagoda, where the stunning scenery added even more enchantment to their proposal story. It was an honor to witness and document their joy and love in such picturesque settings.
