FLUFFY MILK BREAD
Ingredients
Flour -550g
Sugar -90g
Yeast -20g
Salt -7g
Butter -50g (Melted)
Full cream liquid Milk -300ml
Egg -1
Procedure
--Get a clean bowl, pour in your flour, sugar, yeast, salt and mix all with a wooden spoon
-whisk you egg in a bowl, then pour it into the flour mixture add the melted butter, milk , use your hands to mix all together in the bowl and form into a ball
--Place the dough ball on your work surface dusted with flour and knead it for about 5-7 minutes, form back into a ball
--Get a clean bowl, grease the bowl with a bit of margarine or vegetable oil, place the dough into bowl, cover with a cling film or nylon and put in a warm place to rise till double its size.. this take about 45mins -1 hour
--After it has doubled in size, knock down the dough by poking your fingers into it, remove from bowl and place on your work surface which has been dusted with flour, knead the bread for 5 minutes
--Divide the dough into 10-12 pieces. Use a rolling pin to roll out each piece in a forward and backward motion in other words stretch out the dough
--then roll up the dough like a sausage with your hands and place on your greased oven tray. Do this for all the pieces
-- brush the top of the dough with whisked egg
--Leave to rise again for 10 minutes then place in the oven to bake, this takes about 30-40 minutes depending on your oven.
