The beauty of the events game is in experiencing so many different expressions of how people can get together.
We were the bar & snacks provider at a Clothes Swap this weekend. The concept is that you come to the event with some clothes that you don’t necessarily use anymore, put them on a clothing rack and have the opportunity to pick something from someone else’s stash that might take your fancy. This is the way to adorn some new clad without subscribing to fast fashion.
If perchance you just wanted to donate some old but useful clothing, you could do that too. Our donations will go to two places - a centre that is helping rebuild the lives of flood victims in Kenya and an NGO that is helping rebuild the lives of families that have had to flee from the massacre in Palestine.
This is the sort of event we believe in, we are signed up for the long haul.

🇧🇧 Did you know that Gary Sobers, a man from Bridgetown Barbados is one of the finest all round cricketers the world has ever seen?
We didn’t either. We didn’t know how deep the cricket is in the DNA of the soca island.
In a celebration of the Cricket World Cup 2024 coming to the Caribbean, the A Team got all dressed up and did what we do best on seriously fun occasions - we fed & watered our guests and created lasting memories.

When we went in for the ops meeting, our host said to us ‘the boys at Sauti Sol said you guys know what you’re doing. We told them that Aqueous bounced on to the scene as a plucky mobile cocktail bar offering around about the time Sauti Sol were releasing Mwanzo.
We can’t express what a joy it was to see the happy couple jamming to their favourite band under the African stars while we reminisced the National Museum 2010(?) event where we were working the bar and Sauti Sol were opening a valentines event.
