I have been away from these streets for sometime now,and in that time,I have attended alot of weddings. It wouldn't be stretch to say that I can plan a Kenyan wedding in my sleep,as that is the gospel truth.

There's all sorts of seasons in life,and in business. In business,they say that you have to solve a problem.They also say that you cannot serve everyone,you have to concentrate on a niche. I do strongly believe these two statements.

And it's for this reason that going forth,my focus as a wedding planner is to bring value to the couples looking for more.Couples whose thoughts and personalities yearns for more unconventional experiences in their weddings. Couples who are looking to create experiences for themselves and their guests,and all that remains is how?! Stay tuned as I will be sharing exactly how you can supercharge your wedding.

I am excited for this next chapter. I am excited for these platforms that allows me share as we journey along on revolutionising how we celebrate our milestones.

At weddings, what they do not tell you is that a bouquet holds a special place in a bride's heart. It is usually the first contact that a bride has with anything to do with wedding décor, hence a lot of pressure lies on the florist to get it right.
We have heard of instances where the bride did not like the bouquet that was handed over to her and thus demanded a new one, one that she loved. As much as this may seem extreme, she is justified to make such a demand, after all this is her big day, and a bouquet sets precedence for what is to come.
As a wedding planner, have I encountered such? Thankfully no. This is because I am very selective when it comes to selecting the vendors that I choose to bring onboard for any event that I am planning.

However, should such a case come up, I am fully equipped to deal with it accordingly, and professionally.

Today we celebrate bridal bouquets, and the beauty they hold.

The more things you take care of early on, the more you will feel relaxed and less frazzled. A wedding is an anxiety inducing event on its own, so you want to deliberately do things that will ensure to keep your anxiety at bay.
A few tips on how you can do this -
1.Hire a professional wedding planner. A planner will help make your wedding planning process as smooth as possible
2.Secure of the 'big' vendors first. These include venue, food and décor & furniture rentals
3. Make a mental note to plan within a set period of time. If your wedding is in April, plan as if the wedding is happening in early to mid-March.

Hiring a planner will help you get negotiated prices, saves manual effort, will keep you on schedule, manage your pain points, and the best thing, it let you enjoy your wedding day.

MICRO WEDDINGS vs MACRO WEDDINGS

Micro Weddings include all the traditional elements of a conventional wedding but with a smaller guest list of utmost 50 people.They combine intimacy with tradition.They make such a special day feel even more homey and cozy.You will still experience a beautiful ceremony but with a strong emphasis on conversations and memories.

Macro weddings are traditional weddings with larger guest lists and they tend to last the entire day or weekend.It has all the customs and rituals that makes getting married such a momentous celebration.It is also an opportunity to create a day that captures your relationship, personality, culture,or heritage throughout the celebrations.

If you are a couple who wants to play around with expectations on a smaller scale, you might want to consider micro weddings.For those who feel drained socializing in large groups and would rather be in the presence of loved ones,this style will definitely suit you.
