Kenya will witness a total lunar eclipse "Blood Moon" on the night of Sunday September 7–8, 2025 (tonight).

Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro warns that Kenya’s debt has hit Kshs 12.1 trillion, with the country borrowing Khs 3.4 billion daily. According to him, that’s Kshs 140 million every hour and Kshs 2.4 million every single minute.

Kenya is now borrowing Kshs 100 billion every month, leaving Nyoro to wonder where all this money goes, especially since the late Kibaki borrowed little yet delivered development.

He adds that, in just three years, president Ruto has borrowed three times what Kibaki did in ten years.
