DJ Electrik Hail has always loved music. He began playing at local parties in 2012. Originally hailing from small events such as “Remember November” , “The Juiced Pitstop Rave”, “ ” and “Glow NYE”, he went on to pursue bigger events such as “The Countdown”, “Summer Fiesta” and “The Jump Off”. Electrik Hail developed his distinct sound in electronic music by working with various Kenyan EDM p

ersonalities and venturing into lesser known forms of EDM such as Brostep and Glitch Hop. He is known for spinning eclectic sets, not limited to a particular genre, combining the deepest house, pounding and minimal tech, raging trance, viscous electro, filthy dubstep, disco, and baile funk. Beginning as a completely self-taught DJ on atomix dj.. then virtual and later having the benefit of observing and consulting with other DJs like the legendary douggie ol mac and theo.. , he has also shared the decks with great Kenyan luminaries such as Verses Tha Dj and Ken Roots Kuchiki . Electrik hail has had many influences ranging from Kraftwerk to Miles Davis, Armin, Dash Berlin, savant, Mj, Skrillex, Tim Bergling, Frankie Knuckles, Joy Division, anki, alison wonderland, Kezwik, Mefjus and oddly enough classic sixties beat pop. It is with a heavy heart that I bid farewell to a friend whose warmth and kindness illuminated every encounter, albeit too few. Though we didn't have the chance to hang out as much as I would have liked, your infectious spirit left an indelible mark on all of our hearts.
Though you may no longer walk beside us, your spirit lives on in the hearts of those you touched. May your journey beyond be as radiant and beautiful as the light you brought into our lives.
