The water diamond paradox.
Water is life, every living thing needs water to survive but cheap.
Diamonds are rare and require heavy investment to mine, not a requirement for life but yet very expensive.
Why would something so essential for life be so cheap while something that a majority of people die never having gotten the opportunity be so expensive?
Availability.
Water is readily available

Philosophy, religion, and science have always been closely related. The
emphasis shifts, but the point of these endeavors is the same: the importance of
ideas and understanding, of making sense out of our world and seeing our lives in
some larger, even cosmic, perspective. Ideas define our place in the universe and
our relations with other people; ideas determine what is important and what is
not important, what is fair and what is not fair, what is worth believing and what
is not worth believing. Ideas give life meaning. Our minds need ideas the way
our bodies need food. We are starved for visions, hungry for understanding. We
are caught up in the routines of life, distracted occasionally by those activities we
call “recreation” and “entertainment.” What we as a nation have lost is the joy of
thinking, the challenge of understanding, the inspirations as well as the consolations of philosophy (Solomon & Higgins, 2010).

2024 has had its moments, 2025 will also have its moments, but my wish for you is that the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you for the next 365 days of 2025.

Story story?
I heard you say story come😊.
Once upon a time there was a king who called all his subjects and said he had one request. He who would be able to give him what he was asking for would be granted riches.
So he asked his subjects to give him something that when he is happy, he would feel sad when he saw it. Similarly when sad by sees it, he would feel happy.
The subjects were in awe at the king's request. Many tried unsuccessfully.
In due time one man came forward and presented the king with a ring. On the ring it was inscribed NOTHING IS PERMANENT.
When happy he would know that happiness is not permanent and feel sad. Likewise when sad, he would be reminded that nothing is permanent and his spirit would be uplifted.

No matter what you are going through, it may be hard now but it is not permanent so have some hope.
If you are living your best life now, its not permanent, stuff happens, invest in some anchors to give you the ability to navigate the tough times.
NOTHING IS PERMANENT

While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
