Last night I was thinking about life and what’s to come, and I had this tender feeling of gratitude toward photography and all of the amazing women and families who have trusted me with their memories for 10+ years.

I told myself that every year, no matter where life takes me, I still want to make space for creativity and connecting with these beautiful families.
I’d like to honor you by making space in my 2024 calendar (before another calling sweeps all the dates away) and giving you a special price when you book now.

In case you missed my Instagram reel and personal post…let me reintroduce you to Jenn Wiemann Studios.

I shared a bit more detail in the reel, but to sum it up, Josh & I will be serving adventurous couples and families with destination and elopement media.

We are thrilled to offer photography and videography packages for destination weddings, elopements, engagements, honeymoons, and family vacations.

This has been a dream since the beginning of JWP, and I am so excited to finally be sharing the dream with all of you.

On July 2 our sweet little 4lb 11oz Jewel joined our family at a beautiful home birth. We spent 19 days in the nicu as she worked through challenges that itty bitty babies face. God is faithful and three months later our sweet baby girl is developing beautifully.

I am grateful to have the opportunity to focus on Jewel, homeschooling our littles, and doing what we can to face the mountains before us. Medical bills/debt are no joke, and if you’ve ever faced them or are facing them, I want you to know that you are in my prayers. It’s a burden that can feel so heavy, but I know who we can cast all those cares onto.

Photography and serving clients has always been one of the ways that I help Josh carry the financial burden in our home, so I’m not certain how God is going to do it in this season…but I know He is asking me to set down my camera to make my arms completely available for my babies.

I guess it’s going to be one of those God size miracles I always pray to be in the middle of.

That being said…I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to each and every one of you. Thank you for trusting me with your love, your memories, to many of you for becoming trusted, valued friends. Thank you for your patience and grace with me, and thank you for your continued prayers.

I don’t think this is goodbye to JWP forever, just for a season, and I sure hope I’ll have the opportunity to capture your beautiful memories on the other side.

With our sweet little one coming mid-summer, I am preparing for some time off from full time family photography. I am so grateful for all the support I've had jumping back into photography and spring sessions. Our family is extremely grateful for everyone's love and support as we welcome another sweet little into our family.
That said, I have a few mini family sessions & full family sessions left available.

For so long I was searching for ways to make money doing things I loved.
Guess what that turned into for me…burnout on passions.

What I’ve come to understand is that we actually don’t know what we’ll enjoy if we never step out of our comfort zone and learn something new.
• Have I ever loved numbers and graphs and charts? Nope. 🥴
Just ask my high school math teacher - I barely scraped by and got extra help every day after school.
• Did trading in the crypto & foreign exchange market jump out as something super fun I immediately knew I’d love?
Pshhh…nope. 😆
• Do I love getting out of my comfort zone spending hours learning a new skill?
Lazy Jenn says, “no way, Jose!” Successful Jenn says, “Heck yes!”

But guess what I do love…
✨I love financial freedom.
✨I love bucking the system.
✨I love being home with my family.
✨I love travel & adventure.
✨I love how many homeschooling moms are retiring their husbands with this skill.
✨I love learning a skill that I will be able to share with my kids.
✨I love the excitement that mastering a skill and a trade (literally) brings.
✨I love support & really amazing education.
✨I love personal growth, development, & mastering my emotions.
✨I love all the extra time I have now to spend with the Lord.
✨I love that others are waking up and stepping into this with me.
✨I love personal, physical, & professional excellence.

So in turn, I really love this & and cannot wait to see what our future holds.

The travel bug bit again!

The Wiemann family is headed out on a grand adventure in a little over a week. Last year it was just the kids & I rockin’ the road trip in our mini van. This year, our favorite is coming!! We are so excited to be headed on our grand adventure as a family!

I’m feeling this longing…this deep pull within me. I started a project a couple years ago. (I’m somewhat notorious for starting projects and then setting them down for years. My dad is the same way.)
Anyways…I’m feeling pulled back to something I began & I can actually see the next steps to take.

Perhaps there were some lessons I had to learn, some growing I had to do, some places I had to tread, and now I’m ready.

Butterflies come at the thought of sharing. This is going to be a beautiful adventure.

You tickle & giggle & pull my shirt so you can lay your cheek right on my stomach.
Someday naps with mom will go, change will come, you will grow.

Don’t mind me…posting our family Christmas pictures through January. I’m just so thankful for these beautiful blessings & .
Family pictures are always worth the investment. ❤️

I love the way they play together, how they care for each other, the way they’re becoming such close friends.

I’m so thankful that they get to experience life together, and I pray that as they grow, I can teach them how important it is for them to lean on each other and to choose to stay close.

I remember being amazed at how & his siblings chose to hang out with each other on weekends - best friends, and it inspired me in my own family and to instill that within my children.

Gentle hearts, gentle spirits, gentle people. ❤️

Everyone is out there creating amazing content and super cool feeds (ahem... @bekah.scout , @jamiewieselerphoto , @antelopecreekphotography just to name a few) and I’m over here trying not to jump outta my seat and hustle alongside. My amazing midwife said “postpartum care doesn’t happen by accident,” and she is so right. I am so thankful for the grace, patience, and support around me & this little guy because so much healing has happened in the last week. I encourage you, mommas, to slow down after baby is born. You do not have any work more important than the work of healing and introducing that brand new soul to the world. Instead of being in the hurricane, covering and protecting him while healing myself, I am in the eye of the storm, protected by Jesus, healing and nurturing this little boy. I am rooted there so when i need to extend an arm to help my husband and those around me, I can, but I’m not swept into the hurricane of hurry and life. Also...I just have to say Journee girl is the most incredible helper I could ever ask for.
