Life moves on, whether we act as cowards or heroes. Life has no other discipline to impose, if we would but realize it, than to accept life unquestioningly. Everything we shut our eyes to, everything we run away from, everything we deny, denigrate, or despise serves to defeat us in the end. What seems nasty, painful, or evil can become a source of beauty, joy, and strength if faced with an open mind. Every moment is a golden one for him who has the vision to recognize it as such.

GIVE OTHERS A CHANCE TO GROW!
Breaking someone else's plate won't give you more to eat. Blowing out someone else's candle won't brighten your path. Blocking someone else's path won't help you move forward. Throwing mud at others will only dirty your hands. If you cannot accept someone else's goodness, it doesn't mean they are not good; it shows your lack of kindness. Wishing well for others doesn't guarantee their success, but it ensures your own. Doing good does not guarantee rewards, but trouble will stay away from you. Doing harm may not bring immediate misfortune, but any blessings you had will fade. A generous heart creates a clear path; a kind heart attracts good fortune. When the heart is filled with goodness, the universe will protect you. As human beings, we must grasp this simple truth. Working together builds us up, while tearing each other down leads to our downfall.

A fight between a teacher and a student at Moruga School has just ended. It is alleged that the teacher slapped the student for not tucking in his shirt.

The student put him down, mixed him with soil, and threw kicks and blows until the teacher raised his hands to surrender.

The teacher sustained serious injuries before being rushed to the hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, the student has left the school and promised that he will never come back to the same institution.

Three years post-university, I amassed my first million. My social circle consisted of car enthusiasts. I recall having four cars crammed into my compound purely for display. We competed over who drove the latest model and had the most distinguished number plate. I would select which car to use without concern for fuel or maintenance costs. A friend once suggested investing in land in ngong, where half an acre was priced at 150k. I dismissed the idea as too costly and instead opted to purchase more cars. In 2009, I imported a Mark X for 1.5M, used it for two weeks, then encountered engine issues. I sold it four months later for 850k. Had I invested in an acre in Ngong, it would have yielded substantial returns today.

I hold no objection if you choose to invest 200M in a house—it's your prerogative. However, I would express concern if you lack the income to sustain such a property. I've never ranked a house as the foremost investment for the future; it should be lower on the priority list. I lived in a two-bedroom home for years, and I enjoyed my comfort. That's my approach, though I can't impose it on others. Why maintain three vast homes that generate no income? Often, we construct grand mansions in villages to assert status, only utilizing them during holidays or funerals. I would advise investing in shares of a reputable company and building a modest, pleasant home in the village. A friend in Muthaiga, Kiambu, now resides in his guest house, unable to rent out his six-bedroom ensuite home with two living rooms. They are now elderly, with all their children in the US. Upon visiting, it's evident the home suffers from neglect.

Young men with wealth should seek counsel from seasoned, successful individuals. Avoid the paths some of us have trodden. When experiencing financial abundance, seek wisdom on investment. "Money sometimes vanishes... leading to regrets later." Our lessons were learned late, and the experiences were costly.

Food for thought this festive season

A man found his wife with another man in his bedroom. Instead of shouting or beating both of them he just went back to the sitting room. He switched on the Television and started watching some gospel videos.

The wife and the boyfriend were in panic. The boyfriend dressed up and came by the sitting room then he said "Sir I'm sorry for sleeping with your wife."

Husband: "It happens you can go". The boyfriend left. The wife never came out from the bedroom till it was time to sleep. The husband switched off the Television and went to sleep in the bedroom.

He found his wife seated on the floor crying. The husband never said anything or even asking her. He just slept on his bed and covered himself with some blankets. In the morning on waking up, he found his wife dead.

She had committed su***de in the middle of the night as her husband was asleep. The husband was jailed for 20 years for murder.
