It's the first day of August! Are you all staying healthy and cool during this hot summer?

We, at Best Western Premier Gangnam Hotel, are committed to ensuring that all our valued guests have a comfortable and pleasant stay with us. Today, we would like to introduce two nearby water parks where you can beat the summer heat:

1. Yangjaecheon Swimming Pool (August 1 to August 27)

Originally scheduled to open on July 28, Yangjaecheon Swimming Pool had a partial opening due to flooding. However, starting today, August 1, it is fully operational and ready to welcome visitors!

With regular pools, a children's pool, and slides all up and running, it's excellent news for everyone seeking a refreshing escape.
The facility provides amenities like a convenience store, showers, and changing rooms. Please note that the entry fee varies between Seocho District residents and general visitors.

Keep in mind that outside food (delivery) is not allowed, and all visitors must wear swim caps when using the pool. Additionally, for safety reasons, life jackets and tubes are mandatory for those using the regular pools.

Both locations offer water slides, wading pools, and changing rooms. Notably, Banpo Comprehensive Sports Center Water Park is a large-scale water park where even adults can enjoy the facilities.

바로 매주 토요일 양재천 일대에서 수공예품을 구매할 수 있는 '양재천천마켙'을 소개합니다.

이번 행사는 양재천 로컬브랜드의 프리마켓(Free Market)으로 오는 7월 1일까지 매주 토요일마다 열리는데요. 양재천 일대에서 산책과 함께 즐기는 아늑한 감성 마켓입니다.

청년 작가, 청년 창업가, 지역 소상공인, 유명 브랜드 등 60여개 부스가 참여되며, 핸드메이드 액세서리, 차 도자기, 가죽 공예, 퀼트 등 세상에 하나 뿐인 직접 만든 수공예품이 가득한 브랜드 마켓 행사가 열려 원하시는 상품을 구매하실 수 있어요. 또한 서초구 사회적 경제 문화 예술 청년 창업가 4개 팀과 청년 작가 6개 팀도 함께합니다.

지난주에 제가 실제로 가보니 다양한 부스에서 판매뿐 아니라 참여형 액티비티도 많아 아이들이 해볼만 한 만들기 활동도 제법 있었구요(유료). 아기자기한 악세사리와 인형, 생활용품들이 다양하게 있어서 눈요기 될만한 재밌고 예쁜 볼거리가 많아 좋았습니다.

양재천길 상권에 색다른 활력을 불어 넣을 양재천천마켙을 통해 구민들에겐 일상이 예술이 되는 공간이 되고, 지역 내 골목상권 활성화에 도움이 되기를 기대해봅니다.

행사장소는 양재천 팝업존 (영동1교 ~ 수변무대)이며 우천시에는 취소 될수 있다고 하니 참고해주세요!

We recommend the fantastic event happening this weekend at the nearby Seoraeseom, which is in close proximity to our hotel.

The Hangang Seoraeseom Canola Festival is the perfect way to capture some springtime memories. It's held on Seoraeseom Island, right near Banpo Hangang River Park. You'll find loads of awesome photo spots, cultural and art performances, and hands-on activities spread throughout the island.

Admission/Participation Fees: No fees required. It's completely free!

Age Limit: Everyone is welcome, regardless of age. No restrictions here!

Transportation: If you're taking the subway, hop off at Gubanpo Station (Seoul Subway Line 9), and head out from Exit 2. From there, just walk about 370m towards the Olympic-daero Highway. Keep an eye out for the signs pointing you to Hangang Park, and you'll reach Banpo Seoraeseom Island in no time.

This event will conclude this Sunday, May 21st. Many people have already visited and enjoyed the breathtaking sight of beautiful canola flowers. However, this weekend also promises to have fantastic weather, making it an ideal time for a day trip. If you don't have any specific plans for the weekend, I highly recommend visiting this place.
