The briefingwill be held on Friday 22nd of May at NDU-NLC branch, at 7:00 p.m. It will include all necessary information, all detailed rules and final announcements. Participants should be present on this day. Team information should be handed by each team leader and registration fees should be paid. Participants must present themselves at 07:00 a.m. on the first day of the rally paper at NDU- NLC

campus, Barsa. The departure will be at 09:00 a.m. The Rally Paper will include 5 stages covering different regions in Lebanon. The first day will comprise 3 stages, while the second day will comprise 2 stages with anIQ test. Each stage will consist of several checkpoints (Regular and Special Checkpoints). Registration and Participation
Registration is open from the 6th of May to 22nd of May 2015. Registration to the event should be done on the website by going to the Registration section. After registering, you will receive a message confirming your registration. Please note that registration is not final until you pay the registration fees. The registration fees are $100 per car, with a maximum 4 people per car. Each team is allowed to register at least two cars and at most three cars. The registration includes breakfast on the 1st day and lunch on both days. All registered cars should be insured. All registration papers and insurance documents need to be presented during the briefing day. The name of all participants in every car must be also provided during the briefing with proper identification. All participants who want to drive should provide us with a copy of the driver’s license on the briefing day. A driver without a license will lead to disqualification. Once registering, each team should choose a team leader with his/her contact and information. On the launching day, logos and stickers will be distributed to all participating cars. These logos are to be placed on each car, and should remain there. Safety
- The following items are required to be found in each car:
1. Good condition spare wheel
3. Good condition fire extinguisher
4. Cell phone headsets (for the driver)

- Prior to the start, safety check on all cars will be held on campus
1. Wheel pressure
2. Water levels for the engine
3. Water levels for wipers
4. Oil levels for the engine

- Seat belts are obligatory for all car passengers.
- Alcoholic drinks found in a car will lead to disqualification.
- Speeding and reckless driving will be severely penalized and can lead to disqualification of the whole team
- Driver is strictly forbidden to talk on the cell without a headset

Stages and Checkpoints
On the departure, participants will be given a booklet containing riddles that must be solved to find out where the next checkpoints will be. Participants are required to arrive at the checkpoints in order. At the end of every stage, participants will be given another booklet containing riddles for every next checkpoint in the following stage. The exact opening time of every checkpoint will be announced on the website and on the page during the Rally Paper. Imaginary checkpoints await you!!! Beware; you will be penalized if you register there. There will be two types of checkpoints: 20 Regular ones and three special ones. The total points for arriving at regular checkpoints are 400 points (20 points for each checkpoint), while the total points for arriving at special checkpoints are 450 points (150 points for each special checkpoint). Thus, it is important not to skip any special checkpoint. There will be challenges on every checkpoint. The maximum point for every challenge is 50 points for a regular checkpoint and 300 points for a special checkpoint. Thus, the challenges at the checkpoints will account for1900 points. Arrival at checkpoints and challenges will count for 2750 points. Questions
At the beginning of every stage, a booklet containing the questions will be uploaded to the team leader who will send it to the participants present at the team base. Every booklet will mainly contain three levels of questions: (1) 10 easy questions, 4 points each; (2) 30 average questions, 10 points each; and (3) 50 hard questions, 20 points each. The booklet questions will cover several themes such as logic, general knowledge, economics, history, sports, etc. The booklet should be solved and uploaded at the end of each stage. The questions of the booklet will account for 6,700 points. Challenges
All challenges will be posted on the Rally Paper website. Clear grading criteria and deadlines will be published with the challenges. Challenges will account for 750 points (500 points for hard ones and 250 points for average ones). Treasures
At the beginning of each stage, you will be asked to bring 7 items that are hard to find. These items (stage treasures) should be submitted at the end of each stage. Moreover, at the beginning of each day, you will be asked to bring 3 items that are harder to find. These items (day treasures) should be submitted at the end of the day.Only a registered treasure car can submit the treasures. The list of treasures will be posted on the rally paper website and on the page. The grading for some treasures will be on an all or nothing basis (either a full grade or 0), while some will have a descending grading from best to worst. Stage Treasures (submitted at the end of each stage) will account for 1,400 points (35 points/treasure), while all-day treasures will account for 600 points (100 points/treasure). Thus, treasures will account for 2,000 points. All treasures will be kept with the organizing team and will be returned once the rally paper is over. IQ Round
This round will proceed on the 2nd day. It is requested that each team ensures a person for the IQ test. Additional details will be provided before the beginning of each activity. It will account for 250 points. Bonus
The rally paper will include other bonus questions and challenges, which will be provided on the rally paper website. So, each team should be aware of everything posted on the website. Bonus will account for 550 points. Penalties
There will be several penalties for not adhering to the rally paper’s rules and regulations:
- The safety belts are necessary for all passengers; a penalty of 50 points will be cut off each time you'll be seen without safety belts.
- The cars that will not have the pre-distributed stickers on their arrival will be also penalized. The penalty is 2,000 points.
- A maximum speed limit is imposed on all special stages, unless otherwise another speed limit is indicated by traffic signs.
- A safety car will supervise you during the Rally; Excess of speed and reckless driving of speed will be severely penalized. A penalty will be 100 points. Keep in mind that the rally paper is about safety and not speed. Total maximum points for the rally paper are 13,000 points
