The Democratic Republic of Music (DRM) is a concert lounge in the heart of the Hamra district of Beirut. It is the destination of choice in Lebanon for musicians from the Middle East and for touring musicians on the international scene. The venue’s capacity is 350 seated / 500 standing persons. DRM’s proposition is to provide high quality standards shows for our guests and at the same time we want
our visiting musicians to feel comfortable playing our scene. The venue is fitted as to provide a maximum experience for concertgoers. DRM combines skilled production crews, cutting edge audio-visual equipment, friendly hospitality staff, and a food and drinks experience like nowhere else all in an environment that is customized every time for each and every show we produce. We opened DRM in June 2011 and have produced so far more than 155 concerts. The international concerts we produced so far are 15. Stanley Jordan (USA)
