HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our MCE Sounds Founder and Director Lisson, most commonly known as Arthur Tisson, or Tisson!
Tisson’s childhood passion for music would evolved into him playing the bass guitar with the bands Tropical Stars, ND's and Volts. He later formed the band "Magic Circle Express" in the 1980's and was the keyboard player and vocalist. The band produced several hits like "We Can Change The World" and "Magic Oblijay Weste".
In keeping with the change in taste for a new genre of music, Mr. Lisson formed and managed the Apex Band which was St. Lucia's leading Jam Band. He opened a music studio and produced music for Artistes like Invader, Lady Lynn, TC Brown, the late Mighty Pele, just to name a few.
His greatest achievement is the formation and growth of MCE Sounds, which is the Island's premier local Sound and Production Company to produce large events like St. Lucia Jazz, Soufriere Creole Jazz Festival, Dominica Creole Music Festival and the Soleil Summer Festival.
Additional to MCE Sounds his industry-leading expertise led to Arthur’s Rentals offering a wide variety of musical instruments, sound reproduction equipment, equipment for music event concerts and special event infrastructure such as flooring, stages and lights.
At the St. Lucia Independence Awards Ceremony on February 24th 2019, Mr. Lisson was recognized and was awarded a Gold Merit for long and meritorious service in the field of Music.
