Mishka & Yannick were every bit a glam couple, like something out of the movies… We are gushing over how they worked their magic in front of the camera!

For their tropical themed cocktail reception, we chose a bold, flaming and deep colour palette of fiery orange, bright yellow, red and purple to contrast against pure white drapes, linen and furniture.

Florals in pastel hues, candles and fairy lights brought Aneesha’s vision of a garden theme wedding to life, indoors… From walking through a tunnel of branches wrapped in fairy lights, to a hall filled with colour and florals, to the lounges in the garden.

Guests enjoyed some Lankan canapés in the garden after the Poruwa ceremony, whilst being serenaded to old Sinhala and English classics and jazz. The guests were later ushered into the hall for drinks, dinner and dancing and what turned out to be a beautiful night where new memories were made.

Everything about Aneesha and Jaliya’s wedding gave us ‘the feels’… From their love story, to their inside jokes and chemistry, to their close knit and loving families…

Aneesha was as radiant as a bride can be. Staying true to her roots, she wore a traditional ‘osariya’ made from Beeralu lace. Her smile that can light up a room only became brighter and wider every time she saw her knight in shining armor. We absolutely love these cute and candid captures of them!

The decor was kept simple yet elegant with a touch of Christmas through the choice of colours, just the way Natasha and Malik wanted it to be.

Pine cones, Cyprus, berries, deep red and white roses and black candles for a contrast and of course, lots of candle light and jazzy tunes all came together seamlessly to set the perfect mood for a cocktail reception by the pool.

That perfect Christmas nip in the air, the celebrations and festivities leading up to the holiday season and the big day, family and friends coming back home to celebrate your special day with you… But above all, the unconditional love for each other that makes it all the more special and memorable…

Natasha and Malik chose to exchange their vows amongst some of their nearest and dearest family and friends at an intimate cocktail gathering. Every little detail was very personal to them. From the choice of venue, to the priest who married them, the friend who sang to them at their ceremony and reception, through to the colour theme and choice of decor. It all magically came together perfectly…

Maria and Mihnea’s vision was to have a boho style wedding with minimal fresh flowers and lots of dry flowers, loose drapes and just a slight pop of colour.

The garden was lit up with just the right amount of festoon lighting that made the lounge area by the pool a cozy spot (or a quick pit stop to catch your breath after all that dancing!).

And not forgetting, a Sri Lankan touch brought out through the intricately customized hand painted elephant favours.

What a night of celebrations it turned out to be, especially with the weather holding up regardless of the stormy winds during the ceremony.

A magical night under the stars as Maria and Mihnea exchanged vows and danced into the wee hours of the morning with their friends and family…

Lush floral centerpieces of burgundy and wine red, shades of purple, fuchsia pink, a candlelight glow and hints of dull gold set upon tables draped with rich royal blue velvet linen and champagne gold napkins to bring it together to compliment the interiors of the iconic and colonial style Galle Face Hotel.
