This is the type of necklace that fits the neck snugly. It sits higher on the neck than other forms of necklaces and doesn’t give any space to hang lower. It’s about 12” in length and there are 33 Crescent shape pieces on each side and a small padakkama (pendant) in the center. This comes in gold and silver and specially worn by the Kandyan Brides.
