In the midst of my prolonged absence, I feel compelled to share some thoughts. My name is Sith, and I am the founder of a small-scale entrepreneurial venture known as Graze.

Remember the experience and inspiration of walking into one of the best cafe’s in Colombo such as owned by the amazing or once seen ‘Kopi Kade’, these brands continue to impact us small owners for a lifetime. That’s the feeling and inspiration I poured into Graze.

For years, I dreamt of marrying my passion for creativity with my love to cook for the people I love. Graze emerged in 2020 as a manifestation of my academic background in entrepreneurship and innovation.

For me, it wasn’t just about offering gourmet nibbles, it meant creating stories woven into food. Graze was about creating a connection through luxury food gifting. It was the catalyst for meaningful conversations through shared experiences.

Going back to five years ago, walking naive into the world of entrepreneurship and creativity. I assumed creativity and innovation was meant just for the “creative geniuses”. However my amazing lecturer shattered the myth right at the beginning stating, ‘creative individuals were not born with a creative gene’ but it meant an universal language that was waiting to be spoken at any part of your life. Creativity is for everyone.

As Graze takes a temporary pause. My dedication and responsibility lies in my job of lecturing business students and the alluring path to further conduct research in the discipline of entrepreneurship and innovation.

Despite the heavy pause, Graze will remain.

The joy on my clients’ faces, the heartfelt appreciation for my craft – those are the true treasures. They remind me that tangibles that entrepreneurship provides may seem exciting but the intangibles of happy smiles and goodwill will continue.

Graze is more than a business; it’s a journey of becoming, a tapestry woven with creativity, deliciousness, and the magic of human connection. And the journey of endless possibilities will resume soon.
