We at Chef Masters take pride in using all natural ingredients and ensuring that none of our menus undergo any unnecessary fiddling with additives such as Ajinomoto etc.

Most people use harmful food additives during food preparation mainly to improve the taste artificially. It’s also used as a method of preserving food for a longer period and to make food look more appealing. Artificial preservatives use chemicals that your body doesn’t naturally consume. The simple fact is that most of these dangerous additives include Monosodium Glutamate, Sodium benzoate and Sodium Sulphite etc. (Popular among Sri Lankan food preparation in the form of Ajinomoto) These additives have the potential to trigger allergic reactions in your system, such as headaches, nausea, weakness, difficulty in breathing, bloated stomach, gastritis etc.

New research has shown that a mixture of additives on certain foods can damage human nerve cells. The danger is we do not understand all of the long-term effects that additives could have on our health and will be a little too late when we find it out.
