Darlington D. Sehgbean, preferably called “Destined”, is a fellow of the SMART Liberia’s Education Advancement Program and International Senator of the Students Government Association (SGA) at Augustana College in the USA, where he is currently studying. Prior to his
departure to the US, Destined interned at the Louis Arthur Grimes School of Law and gained a legal experience working with Cllr. Jamal C. Dehtho, a professor at law. Destined is currently
majoring in Political Science and Communication Studies at Augustana, and he hopes to enroll in grad school after completing his BAPS to pursue his life-long career in law. His dream to become a lawyer stems from his childhood experience, where finding his daily bread depended on the extent of perspiration that spilled out of his body. This experience has triggered his resilience to aim high and push for a better future; not just himself but for every kid that shares
his story.

Destined hails from a small town in Nimba County, and he graduated from the St. Kizito Catholic High School in Paynesville. During his final high school year, he served as the prefect
of his class, speaker of the student council government, and focal person of the Liberia National Student Union. He also served as speaker of the Liberia Children’s Parliament (now Children’sForum) - Grand Kru County Chapter, and Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Street To
School, a social venture that empowers underprivileged kids with educational opportunities.

Ms. Abigail Olusegun is a student of the university of Ibadan, department of Pharmacy. She works to ensure SDGs 3,4 and 10 are achieved; and has been working actively on these goals through Volunteering for Organizations whose missions coincide with same.

Abigail is passionate about Children, Teenagers and people living with depression. She has reached out to her target audience through Volunteering for different organizations; part of which are: The FAME foundation (www.thefameinitiative.org), Kayode Alabi Leadership and Career Initiative (klci.com.ng), The Orphanage Empowerment Society (toes.today).

Ms. Olusegun also serves as a management intern with Smart Teens Global. She is a graphics designer and tech enthusiast.

Abigail is an active YALI Network member and she has facilitated a YALIlearn session with secondary School students. At age 13, she already Volunteered in her church to start teaching the children in their church due to her passion for raising children and Teenagers who are intentional about their lives. Her mission statement is “To train children and Teenagers to live productive, fulfilling and impactful lives".

She hopes to become a personal development strategist who would help children and Teenagers to develop themselves to live their lives to the fullness of who they are. She loves discussing with people. She is a nurturer, a giver, a super connector and an eqquiper and a lover of books. Mark Boahndao is a Liberian and a youth volunteer. He works at the Center for Transparency and Accountability in Liberia (CENTAL) as a program Assitant and project officer respectively.

Mark is an executive of the Liberia International Model United Nations, and has worked for several NGOs and INGOs. Few of these are: Organization of African Youth Liberia, Beleine Charity Foundation, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Mano River Youth Parliament Liberia, Multi-Services Investment, and more.

Mr. Boahndao, is a top-notch executive of the Girls and Vulnerable Youth Educative Initiative, a local NGO that works around empowering Girls and Vulnerable Youth as the name depicts.

Ms Grace C. Baba is an intellectually curious young lady and an Entrepreneur. She is a 2018 fellow of the Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI) COHORT 10 Fellowship. She is a solution-oriented person, and an advocate of positive change.

Grace is the Founder and Executive Director of the Girls of Destiny Purity Organization, an all girl’s initiative which empowers girls and young women to remain abstinent until marriage through mentorship, skills and business empowerment programs.
