Hello folks! Those of you who vividly remember and miss our (me + Uncle Rodion the Dj) eclectic DJ sets on sundays last year at Kaņepes Kultūras centrs can now rejoice — Kkc has reopened and we’re back on decks with plenty of new music! We know that weather is not exactly right for going out today, but in case you are feeling adventurous, we will not let you down! We start at around 16:oo inside and will be very happy to see you!

Another upcoming show this friday: Subharmonija with my buddy Uncle Rodion the Dj. This time we are going to get lost in the jungle of bass and current broken beat music.

Šonedēļ raidījumā Subharmonija viesosies divi ciemiņi. Ilglaicīgi draugi, producenti, dīdžeji, vinila entuziasti un bezbailīgi nedzirdētas mūzikas pētnieki - tie ir Unce Sampl3 un Uncle Rodion no kolektīva “Uncles Bundle”. Viņu spēlētie žanri un stili nevar tikt definēti vārdos, un tie jāinterpretē muzikāli.
Starp citu, ja kāds līdz šim to nezināja, tad abi minētie DJ spēlē arī deju mūziku par ko arī parunāsim raidījuma gaitā.

Raidījuma programmā neliela intervija ar abiem viesiem, kā arī neaizmirstams muzikālais ceļojums abu mūzikas selektoru interpretācijā par to, kas ir jungle un lauztie ritmi vispār.

Every Sunday over the course of 3 years, Uncle Rodion the Dj and I have been caressing the ears of our listeners (and our own) with just released or re-issued music on vinyl, as part of our beloved Soundays project. We played music on the terrace or inside the Kaņepes Kultūras centrs building, as well as nearby in "Diagonāle".

Unfortunately, nothing is permanent in life and wonderful things sometimes (always?) come to an end, so we would like to invite you to visit Diagonāle for the last time this Sunday, October 23, 2022 – for our final "Soundays" session.

Uncle Sampl3 & Uncle Rodion ir dīdžeji un draugi, Kaņepes Kultūras Centrs "Soundays" mūzikas programmas kuratori. Tīrkultūra raidījumam viņi veido īpašu dj setu, kur reālā laikā radīs "jaunu mūziku", vienlaikus atskaņojot divas plates un miksējot beatless/ambient/harmoniskas skaņas ar perkusīviem/bungām/skaņu dizaina elementiem.

Uncle Sampl3 & Uncle Rodion are deejays and friends, curators of the Kaņepes Kultūras Centrs "Soundays" music programme. For the Tīrkultūra broadcast, they make a special dj set, where they "create new music" by mixing beatless/ambient/harmonic sounds with percussive/drum/sound design and other elements, at which point two vinyl records play along most of the time.
