I delivered this incredibly thoughtful and personal custom order to a wonderful woman in Sunriver yesterday. She is going through a difficult time and her friend in California contacted me to do them for her and her husband. The personal touches include: She and her husband love Bend and she’s an avid skier; they met at ; they started together; and she loves the mural art of in Buenos Aires (the two faces cookie is my best shot at replicating a photo of one of his murals she has as her FB profile). It’s so, so fun to surprise people with orders like this, and I’m so grateful to the thoughtful customers who trust me with such precious work!

It’s “Shout Out Sunday,” and today’s shout out goes to ! I love , who used to do my hair there before she moved to Tahoe/Truckee - and I still love the shop. They are incredibly welcoming, use all clean hair products, are incredibly welcoming to everyone, and they use an hourly price structure. They also happen to be conveniently located by ‘s vet, . I will be selecting a new stylist soon, though will continue to miss Cassidy!

It’s “Shout Out!” Sunday, and this week, I’m giving a shout out to . Back in September, I followed my two instructors from to Still Water Yoga and Wellness when they closed their biz, and I LOVE all my classes (I do 6 each week 😎) and instructors there. See comments for a “it’s a small world” story about my first class with the owner, Shannon Liebel. If you’re looking for a yoga yoga and/or assorted wellness classes, Still Water is an incredible open space filled with natural light, and the instructors are all fabulous.

At the request of my friend, , I donated 3 1-dozen cookie sets for a dessert raffle at Annual Diamonds and Dust Gala, which was last night at their new site in Tumalo. Bob and I attended, too, and had so much fun! I volunteered at in Tennessee in the early 90s when I was in grad school at , so have seen firsthand the benefits of equine therapy. And, my friend rides Tuffy 🥰 Feel great vibes all around!!!

We’re finally in our way to Toscana, Italia for ! Grazie, Grazie, Grazie to all who have donated to Can Do Multiple Sclerosis to help me raise $5,330 so far!!! I offered 2 dozen custom cookies to riders who recruited another rider to go to Tuscany with us in September, and THREE folks came through! This is the first set ordered, and is for one of our ride leaders, Scott, and his wife, who have a Yorkie named Coco. My first attempt at a dog “portrait cookie,” and though it doesn’t look much like Coco…I’m happy it looks like a dog! A class from ‘s McGoo U gave me the skills, and I just need to hone them. Did a training ride that included climbing Pilot Butte this morning before going to Smarana Yoga Bend - so happy to see BLUE sky! Pics on left are at bottom of the Butte, and on the right are from the top. Bob Bevington and I head to Tuscany for the MS Global to benefit Can Do Multiple Sclerosis in LESS than 2 weeks!!!
