"In the energy transition, a very good way of reducing emissions is to switch from coal to gas, and in fact now gas is LNG, so people know that LNG is there for the long term. The global industry would like to see whether they can get capacity, they can get ships, they can build facilities, and if the industry is really existing for this challenge, for replacing all the very polluting energy with a fairly clean fossil fuel such as gas," he said in a World LNG Summit & Awards Energy Spotlights interview.​​
