Hello everyone,

Today would of been the official Slaughterfest Festival 2022 event however some of you may or may not know is that we had some struggles along the way, we would like to shed some light towards for you as I feel you the fans are the best and deserve to know.

Firstly the event is still going ahead but under new control, you can find the event here on The Cobblestones page under the name of "The Bash" which we would like to wholeheartedly thank Graham Hodgson for taking over and keeping the event on for us and all of you who are attending.

slaughterfest as you may know is an independent festival event that is ran by one person myself (Andy) which in all honestly gets very tough to control, and gets even tougher when you have mental Illnesses effective in your everyday life, so when you deal with everything from bookings, to finances to everything in general it all piles up and when you have a bad day you can only Imagen what it does to everything else.

Also with the increase of pricing to literally everything everywhere as we all know of, it's hard to get a grip of that aswell (which is why I am thankful for anyone who has bought a ticket to support the bands and The Sophie Lancaster Foundation for all their amazing time, dedication, and efforts, they all require your support and love.

Recently I have also learned that I will be having a second child if these next few weeks go well (after losing one earlier this year unfortunately) .... so at times I have been sidetracked with other thing going on, It's a crazy life

So in relation to all this going on I have chosen to take a break from promoting for now, take a step back and let reality smoothen out abit then hopefully when I'm in a better place I can hopefully get back to giving everything I've got for all you lovely people,

I should be attending the event tonight (I will be wearing a The Band Sail Uk T-shirt) so please say "Hi" if you'd like to chat to me.

I would like to close out by saying I wish I went the whole way with this event personally but sometimes you have to face reality, which is why I love The cobblestones for taking over this event and keeping music alive in general, one of the best venues you'll see for passion.

As we are nearing the final 30hrs until we decide if it's going to be enough to get the go ahead, I just wanted to say a massive thank you to all those that have participated in buying a ticket, sharing the event and believing in us, the charity and the bands, everyone involved, you are top tier 🤘

Hi everyone, going straight to the point, it seems like slaughterfest isn't gaining much attention in terms of people wanting to buy a ticket, it saddens me because we are doing this for the support of Sophie Lancaster Foundation, and naturally we want to see bands do well in gaining more stage time and recognition.

We have sold far less than we would of hoped and have made the decision to wait and give you all a chance until Sunday to pick up a ticket at www.ethertickets.com at a steal price of £4,

If we can't get close to what we want which is atleast 30 people then unfortunately we have to call it a day and cancel the event,

We are completely ran by your support, unfortunately that's not getting the return we would of hoped for, I know it's up upsetting but that's the hard truth,

31days to go and who has their tickets!!!

We want to be totally honest with you as we always are.....

Ticket sales have not been good at all, very low in fact, which makes us sad because we did this for the charity and we want to see them get more successful in their awareness for what they deserve, us at Slaughterfest are doing our best to keep this afloat but are struggling, we don't want to see this cancelled at all,

If we can make an incentive with all of you, we would like to see as many sales made before the event, the more the better, I know promotion people don't usually make deals with their fans or share numbers, but we want to be a family with you guys and show you exactly how tough it is but also rewarding when you share things like this with you all,

So here is my plead to you guys, the best followers out there, do this not just for us here, but do it for the The Sophie Lancaster Foundation who deserve all the recognition they can get, do it for the bands Elimination Unburier Perdisian Angler DRALLION Betrayers Orcon - Band , who deserve alot of love for their time and efforts to play for us,
Also do it for The Cobblestone who love seeing all your faces as much as possible,

Remember we can't exist without the fans, music can't exist without their fans,
Sales made don't go towards us, they go towards The Sophie Lancaster Foundation who love you all dearly,

We are ran as a whole independently, and without your help, we cannot exist, so we require your help by buying a ticket or there will be no events to run, this is the case this year, we've always been honest with you guys, we are struggling to come to terms financially and If we can't get the required amount of sales beforehand then we will struggle to make ends meet, we are trying our side to make this happen but are struggling, so your help is required more than ever!!!
