Our Story

UNIQUE PRINCESS ENTERTAINMENT offers magical and authentic Princess Entertainment for the Metro Detroit area through parties and special events! We offer a variety of characters and packages to allow families and organizations flexibility in cost and size. Our goal is simple: to enchant and enrich the lives of young people and their families through the “pillars of a princess”: being Strong, Courageous and Curious. We’ve been making magic for over 5 years, and we can’t wait to be part of your next big adventure!

When you book a Princess with Unique Princess, you’re not paying for a “girl in a dress”. Unlike many “pop-up” party companies, our characters have been appearing in homes and events for six years, and we’re proud to offer high-quality performers who are trained in voice and acting, suited with professionally styled and built wigs and dresses. Unique Princess is owned and operated by Eric Gelb, who started Unique Princess when he was 15 in 2015. In the past 5 years, as Eric graduated from New York University (with a degree in Educational Theatre, where he learned how best to connect with young people through performance) and experience working on Broadway and at world-renowned theme parks and regional theatres across the country, Unique Princess serves as a beacon of reminder that there is still magic in the world.
