Before founding Getwrkdone, Cyndi worked for 8 years in the leadership of research and development of products and solutions for the Energy markets across Europe. After a successful career helping both multi-cultural and cross-disciplinary teams in to deliver innovative solutions, Cyndi now develops technology solutions aimed at maximising motivation and productivity, all while helping users to make essential business contacts.

"Can I Apply if I Do Not Work in Tech?"
This is a question that our prospective participants have asked a few times already. The answer is simple: YES, you can and you should! Our participants (and our mentors, judges and speakers) all stem from diverse backgrounds and have diverse experience. That’s what makes the Startup Weekend so special. People from all walks of life come together and work on implementing ideas that might as well change the world.
It doesn’t matter whether you are an architect, a communications specialist or a biotechnician – everyone is welcome to be a part of the Weekend. Having a clear business idea is also not a prerequisite. Our participants can decide to either present their pitch or join and form a team with someone who already has one. Everyone in the team can find a role that suits them best. The idea behind the Techstars Global Startup Weekend is to bring people together, provide them with an excellent networking possibility and an environment that could help them discover their true potential.
So, don’t worry about your background. Come join us on September 20-22 at Talent Garden Vienna and see for yourself how much the support of the right people can do for the development of your idea and possibly even your career!
