Sunday, November 5. 2023 Straits Records will be joining IRIE VIBRATIONS on the rooftop of Potato Head Singapore to share rare records, books and knowledge with our community.

Founder Wan Vegan aka Ras Irie has been an important figure in the SE Asian indie music scene, with Straits Records playing a big part in keeping sub-cultures thriving in the heart of Babylon. This 25-year-old label and record store not only carries rare Reggae & Dub vinyl that cannot be found anywhere else in Singapura, but also curates literature about our Nusantara histories and books that help free us from mental slavery.

Ras Irie and Straits Records, has been a part of many of our sessions since the beginning, and has helped to build the culture and appreciation around this music.
