First post of 2025 is a roundup of some of last year’s cakes! 2024 was a busy year of changes for me and while baking was on the back burner, I enjoyed making these familiar, favorite recipes for family and friends.

2025 is feeling more adventurous! Thanks for being here, I’m excited to see what treats this year has in store!

(also feeling like I need to get to work on a proper tiramisu after baking those cupcakes not once but a few times last year! my all time favorite dessert🤎)

Lilly’s birthday cakes this year! 💕 she’s 7 as of the 15th and I can’t believe how these years have flown!

As usual she requested chocolate cake, but left the frosting and decoration up to me—I went with vanilla cream cheese buttercream ( ‘s brilliant recipe) and some pops of color!

I collaborated with the birthday girl (& v enthusiastic little brother—) for the home cake’s sprinkles; I realized after turning my back for a minute that it’s a miracle any of the sprinkles actually made it onto the cake 😂

A few cookie assortments for boarding nights on the ✨ I’ve enjoyed getting back into a cookie rhythm this summer, revisiting go-to recipes as well as creating new favorites!

Fun fact—Captain Becky was a beloved part of the bakery days! ♥️ She was a huge help to me while hammering through holiday season 2016 - 2017 spring!

(and should you need a fall cookie go-to, the recipe for my gluten free ginger molasses (pic 8 ) is on the website blog. It’s one of my favorite cookies of all time!)

Last month I had the fun of making a few cakes to celebrate and her gorgeous work—it was a lovely and delicious evening!
